It’s been a freezing cold week in the UK, with temperatures local to me lowest at minus 5 degrees Celsius - and rarely getting above freezing all week. The boiler drain at work froze up again - fortunately I managed to unhook it to release the pressure before the boiler shut off this time.

And sorry if you can hardly hear me this week, but it’s been so cold there is no option to have the roaster on to start warming the warehouse up before the staff arrive.  Fortunately we need it running every day to keep the coffee stocks up as demands peak, but I have been running while empty for far longer just to help heating in the warehouse - which of course quickly cools down whenever we have a delivery and the large roller shutters are opened.

As you would expect it has been another flat out week to ship the pre-christmas orders, and of course Christmas blend has been incredibly popular, best year yet for sales - but it all ends on Christmas Day! With just a week to go until the big day, it’s now a lottery for whether orders will arrive before Christmas - we are shipping all week but the carriers have been slow since Black Friday and I think we are going to see deliveries take longer and longer next week.
