A bump in the road for the vlog, thanks to continued work demands I never really got chance to do last weeks vlog - Friday was too busy, I never really found chance or space over the weekend and the ideas to do it earlier this week went out of the Window.

And now we are at Easter, and already a quarter of 2023 has already passed. Needless to say the past two weeks have been dominated by the continued roasted coffee demand, with a new big contract for a subscription service another 200kg per weeks are needed on top of the existing work and general customer demand.

Aside from work I finally got tired of re-applying thermal paste to the stock cooler on my boy’s gaming pc CPU - the AMD Ryzen 5 7300 processor has always wanted to run hot, multiple thermal paste reapplication has only helped for small periods - the last few months I had to set the CPU fan to 100% in the Bios just to keep it from shutting off under load. My final solution has been to replace the stock cooler and fan with a liquid AIO with twin fan radiator - Ideally I wanted to mount the radiator at the top of the case but the thickness of radiator and fan made it impossible because the RAM chips got in the way. So remove the front of the case (handy for a good clean anyway) remove the top two case supplied fans, which got refitted at the top, fit the radiator at the front of the case - fortunately the mounting bolts for the fans were long enough to reach through the fans mounted on the outside, through the case front and into the radiator on the front interior wall. So it ended up being far more work then expected - but dropped CPU idle tempts to 38 to 42 degrees - and critically on games where the cpu was hitting 90 degrees - now it’s barely over 55 degrees.

The Mandelorian series 3 keeps getting better, with last weeks Pirates episode the best yet - packed with action and a real feel good factor as Din is welcomed back into the Creed, albeit after being rescued himself by the sassy Bo-Katen in the previous episode. Favourite from the Pirates episode was the Armourer putting the Pirates right back in their place with what looked like an extended shaft Thor’s hammer! Also great to see crossovers from other Star Wars offshoots - literally Zebb from Star Wars Rebels just hanging out in a bar - awesome!
