🙌🏽Sublime Sunday🙌🏽 An excuse to post your random, creative or crazy ideas by - @c0ff33a ☕️
Welcome to #SublimeSunday , a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a ☕️

First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.

In the strangest times I will ever see in my lifetime, sometimes we need to go and look back on what has passed to draw strength for the future. This weekend the UK started a new Tier 4 Lockdown for London and the South East - because a new and much more easily spread mutation of Covid has taken hold threatening to overwhelm our already over capacity hospitals. It's a cold hard blow for anyone looking to travel and see family for Christmas - as nearly all mixing of households is now banned - with small exceptions on Christmas Day. It's the final nail in the coffin of a torrid year, and the brief glimmer of light vaccines might have brought has all but been extinguished - they might work against the new strain but it can infect people far faster then they can be vaccinated.....

When times look bleak, and you need some reassurance Mum is always there to help. And being Christmas and all, I had some festive cheer to take her. She would have hated this year if she was still alive, being around people was her passion and she loved going to community groups to do crafts and respite centres for breaks where she could interact with people with similar health conditions. I imagine all that has stopped this year, and it makes me wonder if a silent killer is not Covid but the isolation it enforced on our vulnerable and elderly.

#always a flower as @dswigle would say, and these although artificial roses are still a reminder someone here is still loved, and missed dearly.

Life moves on and we remember those who passed, three funerals this year which follow six in as many years passed. As we get older it's expected to pass our respects more often, but that never makes it any more easier.

For Mum a wreath and some festive memory plaques, and for New Year I will add flowers for hope that 2021 will be better for us all.

The Apple tree still has apples, I'm sure this has to mean something. Every time I have been passed it has apples, spring, summer, autumn and winter - it's almost like this tree is trying to show the life of the many that surround it. Strangely beautiful, it's suffered from winds with many branches fallen - but still holding fruit in December.....incredible.
