This is actually from a week and a half ago, from Wednesday this week it turned wet, cloudy and windy. But at least it has been a bit fresher, and made all the coffee roasting I am doing slightly less uncomfortable.

So this week the BBQ has been on hold and the upcycled garden decking area being developed from old pallets at work is on hold. But we have plenty of summer to go out yet, it's barely the start right now!

Cold and wet does mean I can get back to work...at work and continue the warehouse painting. Always have someone foot your ladders, or something in my case. That coffee mug makes all the difference 😉☕️

Fortunately the compressor driven spray paint gun makes covering vast areas a breeze, and it is a whole load easier then trying to go up and down ladders while juggling a roller and paint tray. Face mask is essential though, it does fill everywhere with a fine mist - pretty much everything needs a good dusting afterwards - good job all the stock is sealed and boxed.

Now if you look top right in this photo, just above fuse box number 5 of 10 (the electricians loved auditing this warehouse lol) you can see that at some point in the building history - someone painted the lower section a mucky brown, the middle section white....but did not bother doing the top section - which is either cream or just yellow because it's aged in the 40 years since it was last painted. Maybe they never had ladders tall enough to reach the top, or were just hoping nobody would look up. Anyway I'm working my way around the whole wall, quite fancy doing that lower section the same green as the new roaster - think it would look quite smart.

It's coming together quite nicely, albeit slowly because I do not have time during the week to do anything except roast coffee.

I am going to add another LED strip light above the roaster, despite the massive window behind it on grey days it can be very dim and once we get into Winter it will be very dark. So much ceiling to still work at, I have made it above the pipe work to the nearest centre beam, but all the left side needs doing out of view and all this side of it.

And in the opposite direction I still have to head down all this section yet...I doubt I'll get the whole building down in my lifetime.
