Buying a book (for once) with a Book Token I've had for a while and found today

Hi all,

As you probably know by now, I have a twitter by the name of @_CADawg. Due to this, I noticed a new book that went on sale and took my interest. I think it might even make me like STEEM even more LOL.

So, to start off this story, I was sorting out a pile of papers and found a National Book Token that I got for free a while ago. I put it on my desk then shortly after, thought of a book I'd like to read, the new book 'Permanent Record' by Edward Snowden. Unfortunately, you can't use Book Tokens on Amazon, so I settled for the cheapest UK retailer which accepts book tokens, Blackwells. Never heard of them before.

I did end up paying for part of the book as the token didn't cover it all. but the price was only slightly higher than amazon so not too bad. The other 2 bookshops which accepted it was much pricier so I gave them a miss.

REALLy cool! i upvoted and resteemed! So this book token haha i thought you made oen on steemengine but its for PRE crypto just buying books?

very weird hahah the idea oif tokens must be very old!  lol of course it is
