Have you ever wondered how to auto-upvote your favorite author in Hive even when you don't have time?

You come to the right place I will simplify it as much as possible so its easy to follow.

1 . Go to **[HiveAuto](https://hive.vote/dash.php)**

2 . Click on **Fanbase**

3 .  Type username you wish to **follow and auto-upvote**

4 . After you type the correct **username** this is the list that will come out.

5 . Press the **settings** button as shown below.

6 . **Weight** means the percentage of upvote power you want to give. Because my hive power is still low and the value of upvote has not reached 0.010 yet I just pit 100% weight. As your account grows bigger and upvote value is higher then you may need to lower the voting power every month or every 6 months depending on how fast your account grows.

7 . **Weekly limit** means how many times you want to upvote per week. Personally, I set it to 10 times a week so I don't finish my Upvote mana to one author only, I will spread it among my close friends and my favorite author also sometimes I will support new Users in Hive as well but it all depends on you, you have the power to control who you upvote.

8 . **Daily Limit** how many posts do you want to upvote daily I put 2 per day so I still have enough mana whenever I choose to use hive.
