The PM of my country (Pakistan) has started a campaign to plant 1B trees and this machine is superb for achieving this goal fastly. If I were his adviser I would have suggested him :P

Illegal logging is a major problem for tropical countries. If it is not handled properly, there will be flooding during the rainy season. One of the solution to handle it is the reforestation program. Replanting plants (reforestation) requires sophisticated tools. TreeRover is the best recommendation for this program.

This tech would be a game changer to counter illegal loggers. Which by the way, illegal logging is massively growing for the past years. I hope the government may consider this tech to implement planting tress as many as possible.

I can think of few better ways of saving or helping the world that does not involve saving lour environments. Illegal cutting down of trees is a real problem in many part of the world and I find uncomfortable living in environment without plant and trees. We need this sort of Technology not only to save our environment but to live healthy lives ourselves.

we need to make it works green and these kind of tree rovers helps us to make our world green forever.
great to see that science has taken great measured to control environment but there is lack of education among many people which need to be cut off they need to get aware that trees are life. without them were cant even care sunlight and warmth of the world.

The current era badly needs such robots which can grow plants fast to overcome the dangerous pollution. I think we badly need this robot in our own country 'PAKISTAN' where some greedy people cutting the forests to make the buildings for the sake of profit. 

This is a fantastic tool and great to use in various areas that are hard to get into for a tree planting crew, or where its hard to find tree planters or get enough of them to do the job, plus its much faster and will cut down on labor costs especially for jobs that people dont want to do. This is awesome. This way, we can plant more trees in less time. It does all the work from digging the soil to planting in the seedlings. Cool hunt!

TreeRover will help us to plant more trees thereby removing our valuable time and labour effort in planting. I have heard they are modifying it to support better navigation(because they run only straight for now). In doing so, we can use this robot to plant the trees where human beings find difficult like planting in a slopy areas. This robot can plant 10 trees in one go and the time taken to plant these 10 trees is just fifteen minutes. Beside this robot replaces our dirty work with mud hehe. This robot is setting a motivational work for us that we should increase afforestation campaigns. This robot is preserving our ecosystem and our existence. Awesome robot!!!!

Awesome hunt. I love technologies that aid us for a greater cause. We are in need of this robot pretty much everywhere. Reforestation takes a lot of effort +(money) and needs alot of manpower but this robot definitely can do it better than us and even faster.

@calprut, this is a cool hunt.  It is amazing what technology can do in bringing forth robots to come out to do things for mankind that we never thought would be possible.  It is great that they can even plant tress for us and faster too.  They don't have to worry about the heated sun. No sweat. Ha ha.

I treeplanted back in the summer of 1999. What a horrible job. Anything that cuts down on the hard labour you do planting is a good thing!

Very very clever lol this tree planter bot will save companies a lot of money. Tree planting is such a labour intensive job, I’ve done it before. This is a really great Hunt  gratz man!
