That NFT thing that you have started will be a really nice compliment for the WOTW contest.  I like how you keep growing it.  I foresee every contest in Hive adopting a similar approach in the coming months.  I am not disheartened at all.  I think that some major steps forward were taken this week.  It sucks to watch "chaos", but the end result is very positive.

As you pointed out yourself, "with great power, comes great responsibility".

I am glad to see that you are taking some responsibility on your shoulder. It is wonderful to have fun, but not at other's expense, which is what was happening earlier on this tribe, and maybe still is (I will be keeping an eye on that). This is hive, and no tribe is immune to hive, as they are all built on hive. 

Responsibility is with every stakeholder, more stake your have, more the responsibility. As long as you remember than, you will not have any issue with me.

Our goal across every tribe should be to improve the quality of content and to have a less lopsided distribution of token. It is all our responsibility to protect the reward pool.

Downvote is not personal, it is not an attack, it is simply disagreement on reward.

I had considered writing on "exotic" but figured I'd sit this one out. I'm still working on my master's program and wanted to see if I could get a post on STEM...I used the link you posted and looked myself up...apparently, my curation awards are at 1588.8% I guess that's pretty awesome :) Welcome back!

I'm enjoying my break from Hive as well. Given the limited options, I think proofofbrainio handled it pretty well till the backtracking.

Beef in hive or another tribe shouldn't be brought into pob imo. 

Personally, the price going lower is good. Maybe the community can get back to what made it special instead of all that focus on the price.

Maybe focucing on POB reward is what will help true proof of brain people build the tribe correctly. Why should a true POB enthousiast care that much about hive downvote, if he/she really happy with POB. But always complaining about hive in POB while getting rewards from hive looks to me strange. I understand now why people create an account for each tribe appart. I was even downvoted by a few players here. But, I don't care that much since the rewards I was getting in POB were much higher. And I didn't downvote anyone back just because he/she downvoted me. I never downvote for an opinion or a desagrement of rewards as well. I think the only thing that should be downvoted is spam or plagiarism. 

Anyways, waiting for the next word of the week to participate in ! 

Let's all move on ! That's the most important from both sides !

welcome back @calumam. Your absence within the week was much pronounced as we missed you dearly. It's good to see you're doing great. The POB WOTW shall stand and never die. We shall all stand to wax stronger and better. Pls never feel discouraged of what happened because there's usually no success without going through one challenge or the other at the course of succeeding. We missed you @calumam, I guess you didn't miss the drama! It's been a crazy week for everyone on the tribe.

I don't know why you got the downvote from azircon on that post but I think you and the whole team working on WOTW are doing a great job. It brings a lot of value to the platform so I don't think it was over-rewarded at all. I made a comment on the post but it was a joke since it was a 'mystery' with lots of 'question marks'. I hope he realizes that but in any case, don't stop doing this. 

I couldn't participate in the last two weeks for various different reasons. Maybe some of that was because it was depressing to see what's happening here. I was trying to understand and engulf different opinions floating around - yours, mine, and others.  I will definitely get back on to it this week. ✌ As I said earlier, this is one of the major reasons why I log in here. 

Btw the NFT idea is mind-blowing. I really like it!

@calumam I didn't see any issue with what you have done to support the community. It seems a shame to fault you for having a successful trail, as many users with much more Hive stake than you still rely on trails for their posts. I <a href="https://www.proofofbrain.io/hive-150329/@darkflame/monday-june-21-2021-hive-engine-snapshot-and-pob">wrote a bit</a> today with my perspective, not about you but POB in general. I still see a bright future, and I might consider joining your curation trail if it was adding value to the community. This platform is constantly changing and after HF25 the voting game will change also. Don't be too discouraged, but take what you can learn and keep on rolling. I will follow you for more great ideas. The loudest person in the room might get the most attention, but that does not mean everyone in the room agrees, although it can  feel that way. I discourage the use of downvotes, as it should only be used to curate spam, blatant plagiarism, or send a message that is otherwise unresolved with our reason and words. There are many unintended consequences of fighting with those you live beside, and it is better to talk to your neighbor politely to resolve perceived issues.

I am very happy that you came back, really happy. I must admit that the reason for posting on POB was the contest of the week that you run, I figured it wouldn't be done anymore and that had me discouraged. 

The work you do is excellent, the set of social experiments are quite interesting, including the one that affects us so much by not commenting on any post hahaha evil.  Making a table of values in excel to be able to keep score and be as specific as possible when deciding the winners, brother that's very efficient and smart. I know you have many other ideas and that's why I'm glad you're back.
