Any form of content is encouraged whether that be short or long-form writing, poetic, artistic, music or voice, or any other method you can come up with.

The guidelines for entry to the contest are as follows;

1. The post must be made on the proofofbrain.io front-end
2. The post must have the **pob-wotw** tag added to it
3. **Interaction with other entries is a requirement to win**
4. Entries must be posted **before 12:00 UTC on 09/05/21**
5. Posts must clearly demonstrate what the weekly word is

# <center> **IMPORTANT INFORMATION** </center>

 Alrighty, let's get this all shared.

As you can see above, the winning positions have been increased and we now have 4th and 5th place. This is due to the increased activity and responses we've had for the contest. I want to reward more people for their efforts and spread out these tokens.

You'll notice as well that the word for the following week is shared too. This is to help those who may not have the time or inspiration for the current week's word.

**Posts for the following week's word will be disqualified if they are published before the current week's winners are called (no debate).**

I am also tightening up on the guidelines this week too. If you do not have the #pob-wotw tag in your post it's an automatic disqualification.

I'm working on a better method for declaring the winners. This will be in the form of a merit system where people will be rewarded points for a handful of reasons such as post quality, engagement, perspective, formatting, etc. Winners will be those with the most points across the board and I'll share everyone's points each week to help with feedback.

This system won't be added for another couple of weeks because I want to create a solid framework for judging each category so I don't cause any upset for judging people with my own subjective opinion. 

I'll keep you in the loop and if you want to help with the brainstorming feel free to message me on discord. If you can't find me, you're not looking hard enough.

Dear @antonym, I think I would have been mad if you did not take first place for last week's word of the week....Persistence

That is because your entry was mind-blowing, telling us how much you write on a daily basis, and it sounded like an addiction, and I could relate because I have crazy addictions too 

You should know that through reading your entry, I want to start looking at my rewards at the end of the week like you said you do with yours, so I can rate my progress

Did you know, I am the most interesting lady in the world too...lol, why? because just like you, I find not using the time to engage in profitable activities boring, and wasteful so I never have a boring moment, If I do, I may die out of suffocation, lol 

Oh, last but the least, I like the way you say you format your writing even before writing them. Coming up with headings before writing them sounded like a good idea to add to my writing skills.

No worries mate, well deserved. 

From the outside looking it may seem like it's working well, but that's just my superb ability to make everything look like it's going smoothly. An art mastered over a decade, lol. 

The new format will basically just make the whole judging process fairer and will provide feedback to all, not just the winners. I was lying in bed last night and it all started to make more sense, so that's encouraging. We're gonna turn stone into marble, just watch.

It is a great word which contains many meanings that can be seen in a subjective way, I do not think it is so complicated my friend, sometimes every day we live in a paradox it is only a matter of keeping your eyes wide open so that you can not only give yourself account but also that you can step on the keys and capture an excellent story!

Wow, geez, thank you all so much! I really don't know what to say, I'm just so overwhelmed... (approaching the stage, pulling a speech from my pocket...)

I'd like to thank all the people who made this happen... my parents of course... even though I didn't see much of them, without them both none of this would have been possible. I'd like to thank my teachers, who showed me at an early age that if I wanted to *learn* anything, I'd most likely have to do it myself.

I'd like to thank the bullies and abusers from my youth...(music plays) ...WITHOUT WHOM...(music plays louder) ... I NEVER WOULD HAVE ...(ushers approach) ... get your HANDS off me!... (music continues, as I'm pepper sprayed and dragged off stage. Well, considering this case i mix engage both my main account and tribe account in @romirspc.tribe, but i admit that lately I am so busy with office work that it is very difficult to even manage the time to write articles. What's more, there was an incident with my boss because the car body was scratched when I drove him home and hit the fence of his house  (lol). I'm working on repairing the car and hope that all this busyness ends so that I can continue to be active in the community and try to increase engagement and contribute to the community with maximal, but i never lost any moment to find interesting articles on community and leave vote and sometimes comment on them althought its just small amount around 3 POB on 100% vote. I'd love to say that I had some master plan of using the word paradox to rope in the second-largest stakeholder into the contest by proxy, but no, my intelligence doesn't stretch that far, lol. It was a suggestion by @fireguardian a couple of weeks ago, so he deserves the credit.

I've dropped a 50% vote on this for the initiative and to get it higher up the comments for attention.

My guess, based on the information you openly provide via your profiles display name and bio, is that you named yourself "trostparadox" because of the contradictory element that could be perceived if someone was to assume trost had a close link to trust. 

This could lead to people assuming trust on some level which would be without any firm reasoning because it is just your name and that trust should be gained from your actions and how you present yourself, and not because of your name resembling the word.

Your guess is (paradoxically) the closest, yet the farthest -- and the most interesting, yet the least interesting.

Thanks for the noble attempt.

Whereas no one figured out the true rationale for my inclusion of the term 'paradox' in my twitter and Hive monikers, I guess that gets me off the hook for the competition.  However, I will try to submit a post in the next day or two explaining my rationale.

PS:  You astutely checked my Hive profile to look for clues, yet I changed my profile just after I submitted the above comment, because ... well, then it would've been just a bit too easy.
