GAMERS, We continue with this series of POST dedicated to DOOM and this time we will talk about the expansion of DOOM 3 called DOOM 3 RESURRECTION OF EVIL, which I particularly loved.

DOOM RESURRECTION OF EVIL is a first person video game developed by ID SOFWARE and NERVE SOFWARE, being released in 2005 for platforms such as WINDOWS, OS, LINUX and XBOX .

In this version we see again the classic DOOM 2 double barrel shotgun, also 12 totally new maps for the campaign mode, new enemies.

In this expansion 2 years will have passed since the event happened in DOOM 3 in the facilities of FOBOS.
The UAC detects a new signal coming from the facilities on Mars, so it decides to send a team of military to investigate among which will be our character, our character finds an artifact sealed in a capsule created by ancient alien civilizations.

Our character takes the artifact and opens a new portal where three diabolical guards sent by Professor Betruger (NOW A DEMON CALLED MALEDICT).

Our soldier receives the order to take the artifact to the laboratory of FOBOS where it waits for the DRA ELIZABETH MACNEIL who is in charge of the investigation of these events.

On the way the artifact that turns out to be the heart of the hell that feeds on souls, will help our soldier to face the guardians of hell who when defeated will give powers to the artifact that will be transmitted to our character.

After fighting all the way through the complex, the soldier eventually meets McNeil in Fobos' lab. She tells him that the only way to destroy the stone of hell is to return from where it came from: Hell. The soldier turns off the electricity from the entire base to place it only on one of the teleporters to get to the Delta labs. Where is the main teleporter to hell.

The soldier goes to hell and kills all the demons until he reaches Betruger, who has become the Maledict. After some fighting, Betruger bites the soldier, but before eating him, the soldier puts the stone of hell under Betruger's throat, killing him.

This expansion fulfills very well its role not only bringing new weapons, new characters and new scenarios but also giving a more explanatory turn returning a little to the past which is clarifying us more the why of this unchained war between dimensions...
