I don't want to drown you in technical terms, but instead to know the basics of what those terms mean so when you select a microphone, you know how to use it appropriately and what to expect from it's characteristics. Yeah that is a great mic but even so, I'm not sure folks often understand it's polar patterns and how those affect the sound.  Hopefully this video helps a bit.
