I would start by saying, this question is one of tasking one because many things are happening around the world that is making many Christians believe that the causes of this havoc is a result of the technology of our age built but I would want to stand to say this that spirituality is a state if the mind and if anyone is not in right standing with His or her creator it is because the person is either ignorant that God exist or they aren't interested in spiritual life. <center></center> Before I go in to answer the question, I will define spirituality and technology according to our dictionary which I feel is a great place to start so that we can get to understand the differences. ____ ____ ***Meaning of Spirituality*** <center> [Image Source](https://pixabay.com/illustrations/meditation-spiritual-yoga-1384758/)</center> - The quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things - Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature. ... An opening of the heart is an essential aspect of true spirituality. - It is also said that spirituality is composed of three aspects: relationships, values, and life purpose which has to do with the body, healthy, and mind. So in essence, spirituality can not be defined or said it is complete if our physical and mental health isn't involved. I would say spirituality means the same thing, when one isn't spiritual, he isn't there is no other definition of spirituality other than the one defined although it is a very personal thing but we each can not define it differently because it is to one Supreme being we have connected. ____ ____ ***Meaning of Technology*** <center> [Image Source](https://www.pexels.com/photo/black-and-gray-motherboard-2582937/)</center> - The application of scientific knowledge to the practical aims of human life or, as it is sometimes phrased, to the change and manipulation of the human environment. ... - The branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment. - The sum of how social groups provide themselves with the material objects of their civilization. - The application of scientific knowledge to the practical aims of human life or, as it is sometimes phrased, to the change and manipulation of the human environment. ***With those defined, I can categorically say that technology was created to aid human life to become better which has to do with the three aspects of spirituality, body, healthy, and mind.*** It was the human mind that was used to create technology to help aid the human body ease stress and elongate human life which has to do with human health. ____ ____ I have come to an understanding that spirituality is all-encompassing, it includes everything we need in life to live to the fullest. It includes technology, relationships, and all other fields or aspect of life. Both have been co-existing for hundreds of years now, technological advancement has been in existence and it is not a recent development, our early fathers used technology to meet their needs and was still able to have a good and sound spiritual life which is through the aid of God's grace and not ours. Because there is a slight change and development in those olden days technology many tend to feel or think that technology is just emerging in this century. Although to an extent, the use of technology is abused but it does not mean that both can not exist. What we need to do is the need to balance these two areas in our lives. Each of them has a place in society and they are essential and need each other to coexist the same way we need each other in the body of Christ to fulfill God's given purpose to all humanity. Finally, I would say there is no conflict between science and religion when used rightly and for the right reasons because both have a place in society and both are of great benefit to society.
