Rain in the soul...

&nbsp;
The intense rain
    washes away memories...
wets the feelings
    and dilutes them 
in a sad oblivion...
    Silent, persistent,
refuses to leave,
    while it becomes a puddle
that I refuse to cross.
    The water runs between the stones,
clean as crystal
     it carries the pain 
of a love that is gone,
     worn out by time, 
wounded by lies...
