<center><sup>This post is both in English and Spanish, puedes ir directamente al inglés dando click [AQUI](#English)</sup></center> ## ¡Holaaa Hivers un saludo para todos!📍 <center>**Han pasado unas semanas después de carnaval y hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo fue mi experiencia en los carnavales recientemente pasados haciendo coro calipsero.**</center> https://images.hive.blog/DQmaTxRK5PU54LFemLdraAcP2Nfp42mWMS5gxmkbWc4HVSs/2.png <div class="text-justify">Uno de mis retos para éste 2023 era aprender calipso o al menos las canciones que harían parte del repertorio de ```La Unión del Calipso``` grupo del cual este año he sido participe por primera vez para la noche de presentación el día lunes de carnaval. Cinco (5) agrupaciones serían parte de esa noche del lunes después del desfile de carrozas y comparsas, nosotros (`La Unión del Calipso`) ocupabamos el tercer lugar en orden de presentación, donde una de las presentaciones más sonadas era un Grupo de El Tigre llamado ***Oro Negro***, ***El Negro Jackler*** desde el Callao iconos del calipso y aunado a ellos ***The New Family Calipso*** y grupo ***Pimienta*** como grupos también locales. Nuestra presentación se daría aproximadamente a eso de las 12:00/ 12:30 de la madrugada, la desventaja de ser músico es esa... madrugas, madrugas y madrugas, eso con lo largo del tiempo agota, pero mientras hacemos lo que nos gusta obviamos esa parte.</div> Esa tarde del lunes 20 de febrero no fui como espectador de las comparsas, me alisté por la noche y las 8 pm llegué al lugar donde finalizaba el desfile y estaba la tarima para las presentaciones de grupos musicales; el grupo había quedado de acuerdo ir de blanco y pantalón negro; yo no tenía una blusa sin estampado así que decidí llevar esta que me ven, y me regaló una de mis amigas queridas el día de mi cumpleaños (sch, cuando leas esto te amo y nuevamente gracias❤ ).   Mientras transcurrían las horas compartía con amigos, por cierto, me tomé una foto con [Lis Arbelaez]( https://instagram.com/lis_arbelaes_19?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) Respresentante de **Miss Continentes Unidos Venezuela 2022** e hija de mi pueblito Pariaguán; la foto no me gustó tanto pero no quise pedir otra por pena jajaja y eso que ella tenía todo el tiempo disponible porque solo estaba en espera de amigos con lo que estaba compartiendo, justo en ese momento recordé una entrevista que le hice en el año 2017 para un programa de televisión llamado Ktv, en el cuál me comentó que su sueño era ser modelo y partícipe de certámenes de belleza, su sueño se hizo realidad gracias a su esfuerzo y qué orgullo que deje en alto a Pariaguán🥰.  Siendo sincera quería que fuéramos los primeros en presentarnos, creo que era por la inquietud de saber cómo sería la presentación y aunque estaba tranquila porque he sido parte de escenarios sentia un poco de miedo porque esta vez sería diferente porque en vez de tomar un instrumento de percusión tomaría un micrófono. Por mi mente pasaba que iba a temblar del miedo, pero al momento de subir a la tarima no sentí exactamente nada🥺, la confianza que había en mi la desconoci pero al mismo tiempo pensaba, es porque ya lo he vivido.   Un popurrí de 30 min, era lo que cantariamos al público, transcurrido y finalizado el sets nos despedimos y saben qué?....El público pedía más; ¡OTRA, OTRA, OTRA!, ese eco llenaba mi corazón de emoción y orgullo; la primera vez que Coreaba calipso y querían más?!!😱..Por supuesto el vocalista principal cantó 3 temas adicionales pero yo no me los sabia del todo jajajaja, entonces para que nada saliera mal decidí no tomar el micrófono y quedarme en tarima a apoyar a mi grupo🥰 la emoción en ese momento era muy grande, aunado a ello el orgullo por mí misma porque cuando bajé mis amigos comentaban que la presentación estuvo grandiosa. Sin duda alguna la música me ha hecho vivir experiencias grandiosas y éste primer año para mí será inolvidable además que...Recuerdan que les mencioné a El Negro Jackler, la leyenda del calipso en el Callao? Tuve el privilegio de corear 3 temas de él por primera vez. In my mind I thought I was going to tremble with fear, but when I got on stage I didn't feel exactly nothing🥺, the confidence that was in me was unknown but at the same time I thought, it's because I have already lived it.   A 30 min medley was what we sang to the audience, after the set was over and finished we said goodbye and you know what?..... The audience was asking for more; ANOTHER, ANOTHER, ANOTHER! that echo filled my heart with emotion and pride; the first time I chanted calypso and they wanted more?😱...Of course the main vocalist sang 3 additional songs but I didn't know them at all hahahaha, then so that nothing would go wrong I decided not to take the microphone and stay on stage to support my group🥰 the emotion at that moment was very big, added to that the pride for myself because when I got off my friends commented that the presentation was great.
