A quiet week in stocks with only one sale but a busier time in altcoins as I turn attention to racing crypto markets.

<h3>Portfolio News</h3>

In a week where S&P 500 rose 2.7% to touch an all time high, my pension portfolio rose only 0.70%.

A quiet week in stocks with big movers of the week Navios Maritime (NM) (+16%) and De Grey Mining (DEG.AX) (+15%) with United Kingdom bouncing up 5% for the stocks I hold. 

Star of prior weeks 88 Energy (88E.AX) became a big faller down 63% - the joy of investing in oil exploration. Italy was a drag with several stocks dropping 5% or more. Solar stocks (MAXN, RUN, CSIQ) also dragged

**Crypto booms** 

Bitcoin price zig zagged higher with a small test lower down 3.4% and finishing the week 4.8% higher than the open.

Zoomer of the week was XRP up 157% to a peak and then adding another 32% at the time of writing. Binance Coin (BNB) was up 55% and Stellar (XLM) up 40%.

**Star Peak Energy Transition Corp** (STPK): US Energy SPAC. Stock was assigned to me on a naked in the March expiry round at $30 with a close at $29.97. I sold at that level for a 2.5% profit after taking into account the put premium on the first naked put. I had made the naked put trade as Jim Cramer had added the stock to the Action Alerts Plus bullpen. I chose to exit and will keep writing naked puts well below current levels until such time as he does make the pick a BUY. 

<h3>Cryptocurrency</h3>

**Ripple** (XRPBTC): Followed the run up in price and sold a portion to switch into a few juicy candidates that were turning over. Locked in 71% profit since January 2021. Too bad I did not hold on longer - the core of the strategy is to take profits and roll into other coins. See the chart in the Crypto Booms section of this note

**Chainlink** (LINKBTC): Price looks like it has turned over relative to BTC - added a small position from XRP proceeds.

**New Economy Movement - NEM** (XEMETH): Chart was looking like price wanted to break up out of the downward channel it has traded in for a few days. As I look now a few days later, it looks a bit like a false break could be forming - this increases the average price for my holdings.

**Steem** (STEEMBTC): Steem price made another run higher after a small pull back - sold the next parcel at the weekend with a view to switching over to Hive. This leaves one parcel to sell and a small amount in Steemit.com powered up to earn some author and curation rewards there from my daily Actifit posts.

One covered call written on Van Eck Vectors Gold Mining ETF (GDX) - this works well as a way to drive income from hedge trades.
