Buenos días y feliz domingo,

En las siguientes líneas os explicaré el camino que he seguido hasta alcanzar mis primeros 1000HP y también os comentaré como Hive me ha permitido descubrir nuevas aficiones que no tenía.

## Un comienzo casual y un primer post para olvidar.

Por cuestiones del destino durante una conversación informal con @millyzev mi amiga me comentó que ella tenía un blog en una blockchain llamada Hive. Tengo que reconocer que cuando me lo comentó, no tenía conocimiento alguno de blockchain, criptomonedas ni de blogs. Sin embargo, me pico la curiosidad y empece a investigar un poco sobro la plataforma, me registré en la misma a través de la aplicación de #ecency a finales de marzo de 2022 y comencé a leer algunos post y con los pocos RC que tenía en ese momento incluso a realizar algún comentario.

Pocas semanas después, animado por mi amiga, decidí escribir mi post de introducción en la plataforma. Sin embargo, debido a mi inexperiencia y a que no me leí los distintos post que hay para novatos, mi primera publicación fue un fracaso, ya que incluso no seleccione ninguna comunidad en la que publicar el primer post, por lo que este primer post pasó desapercibido. Por tanto, tras ser advertido por mi amiga, que había realizado las cosas mal, me recomendó rehacer mi post, emplear las etiquetas correctas y seleccionar una comunidad como #gems para publicar mi presentación.

Good morning and happy Sunday,

In the following lines I will explain you the path I have followed to reach my first 1000HP and I will also tell you how Hive has allowed me to discover new hobbies I didn't have.

## A casual start and a first post to forget.

As fate would have it, during an informal conversation with @millyzev my friend told me that she had a blog on a blockchain called Hive. I have to admit that when she told me about it, I had no knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrencies or blogging. However, I was curious and I started to investigate a little about the platform, I registered on it through the #ecency application at the end of March 2022 and I started to read some posts and with the few CRs I had at that time even to make some comments.

A few weeks later, encouraged by my friend, I decided to write my introductory post on the platform. However, due to my inexperience and the fact that I did not read the different posts for newbies, my first publication was a failure, since I did not even select any community in which to publish the first post, so this first post went unnoticed. Therefore, after being warned by my friend, that I had done things wrong, she recommended me to redo my post, use the correct tags and select a community like #gems to publish my presentation.

## Una primera etapa donde me costaba escribir

El primer mes y medio tras realizar mi introducción en hive me di cuenta de que me costaba escribir con naturalidad y a su vez me constaba emplear los distintos códigos para hacer que mis post fuesen atractivos. Por ello, una forma cómoda que había encontrado de generar contenido y darme a conocer en la plataforma fue emplear la página de #liketu para hacer mis primeros post, ya que me resultaba más fácil crear los post, subiendo en primer lugar fotos, colocando un pie de foto explicativo y a continuación hacer una descripción general del contenido que compartía.

## A first stage where I found it hard to write

The first month and a half after my introduction to hive I realized that I found it difficult to write naturally and at the same time I was struggling to use the different codes to make my posts attractive. Therefore, a comfortable way I had found to generate content and make myself known on the platform was to use the #liketu page to make my first posts, since it was easier for me to create the posts, uploading photos first, placing an explanatory caption and then making a general description of the content I was sharing.

## Concursos semanales, una forma de hacer comunidad

Poco después, de esta primera etapa donde me costaba escribir y darme a conocer, comencé a participar en diversos concursos semanales. La participación en estos concursos y la interacción con el resto de participantes es una recomendación que le doy a todos los novatos en hive, ya que es una forma divertida de introducirse y de interaccionar dentro de la comunidad.

## Weekly contests, a way to build community

Shortly after this first stage, where it was hard for me to write and make myself known, I started to participate in several weekly contests. Participating in these contests and interacting with the rest of the participants is a recommendation I give to all newbies in hive, as it is a fun way to introduce and interact within the community.

## Medios por los que he crecido en mi Hive Power

Aparte de la publicación casi diaria en distintas comunidades como #weekendexperience, #pinmmaple, #dailyblog, #qurator o #pob una parte importantísima de crecimiento de mi HP ha sido el estacado del Hive que voy consiguiendo de mis delegaciones de HP como por ejemplo a @ocdb, @qurator, @curangel, @tipu, @visualblock o @entropia por citar algunas de mis delegaciones.

Por último, indicar que otro de los medios por los que he notado un gran avance en mi HP son las recompensas de voto debido a la delegación de HP que he recibido a raíz del último #HPUD y #HispanicPUC por parte de @walterjay, @traciyork, @r1s2g3 y de @jacobtothe.

## Means by which I have grown in my Hive Power

Apart from the almost daily publication in different communities such as #weekendexperience, #pinmmaple, #dailyblog, #qurator or #pob, an important part of the growth of my HP has been the Hive staking that I get from my HP delegations such as @ocdb, @qurator, @curangel, @tipu, @visualblock or @entropia to name some of my delegations.

Finally, to indicate that another of the means by which I have noticed a great progress in my HP are the vote rewards due to the HP delegation that I have received as a result of the last #HPUD and #HispanicPUC by @walterjay, @traciyork, @r1s2g3 and @jacobtothe.
