Promoting steemit and steem has being one major part of my contribution here on the steemit platform as it gives me the chance to affect lives positively. So recently I decided to come up with an idea that will enhance the promotion of steemit among Nigerian youths, as we all see them as the leaders of tomorrow. I decided to take it down to the NYSC youth corp members. Hence this gave birth to STEEMIT NYSC INVASION. It is a new dimension of the #Project20millionNaija project that is sponsored by @stach and also headed by @ejemai. In addition, It is also sponsored by the @steemnaira community as pioneered by @michaelcj. **All Powered By STEEM**

### WHAT IS NYSC?
NYSC( National Youth Service Corps) is a scheme/program mandated by the Nigerian government for all tertiary institutions graduates to serve their country with the aim of acquiring experience from diverse cultures and job setting for a period of one year. After the one year of service, a certificate will be issued to corp members who successfully completed this program.

### WHY DO WE CHOOSE NYSC?
After this one year of service, most of these youth corp members who had expected that they will get good jobs as graduates, will end up hovering the streets with files containing their Curriculum Vitae and school documents and the chances of getting this job is very slim or with the probability of zero. Hence, the **STEEMIT NYSC INVASION** program is to tell this youth corp members about steemit thereby giving them the opportunity to earn rewards from their inherent creativity. This will reduce the 
job dependency that exist in the minds of youths.

### WHAT GAVE BIRTH TO THIS IDEA
After a year of my service, although I was fortunate that I already got myself ready with a vocation I learnt. I didn't know about steemit as at the time of my passing out from the NYSC program so I had to plan ahead of time. Believe me most of my colleagues who we passed out together are still in search of jobs even as I am writing this. I called some of them and told them about steemit, at least I believe if they knew about it, they would not have been going through the frustration associated with job search.
Therefore I said to myself, it will be a great Idea if we tell these corp members that are still serving about steemit earlier enough so that they will not be solely dependent on seeking for jobs. Even if they seek for jobs, that is not bad but the idea tertiary institution graduates hovering the streets in agony and frustration after many years spent in school studying is appalling.

### WE ARE READY TO INVADE AND PROMOTE STEEMIT
At first I had to meet with some steemians here in Kaduna where I reside, I told them about my intentions and they welcomed the idea. These are @nmalove, @rasheedyazi, @happoculturation, @ogokojennifer, @vagios and @gloxypearl.

We agreed to visit these corp members during their CDS(Community Development Service) meetings where all of them will be available and there we will talk to them about steemit and the benefits of becoming a member of the steemit platform.

We also went further to design flyers and polo T-shirts which will be shared to these corp members as these will make the project more colorful and convincing. The flyers and polo T-shirts was designed by one of own steemian @graface.

Steemit has help us and it is our duty to introduce it to others. Also will love to thank @ejemai for his advice. He is an icon worthy of emulation, @michaelcj for everything, without him, I will wouldn't have known what steemit is and for his constant influx of motivations and endless ideas and @ehiboss, @gbenga and @destinysaid for their support in diverse ways.

We will keep you updated on every outcome of this event as we anticipate for a better life for our youths.
