Jebedeen had always dreamed of growing a tail. He was a professional tree-climber. No further explanation needed. One day, he saw an advertisement drawn by one of those airplanes in the sky that leaves trails of smoke. The advertisement said: 

"Follow me".

Intrigued, Jebedeen decided that he would indeed follow. The trail of smoke led Jebedeen all the way into the deep, dark, jungle. Night came and he could see the smoke-trail no more, so he settled against a nook of a giant tree and though to himself:

"Oh well".

At that very moment, he remembered that he was a professional tree-climber and decided to exercise his skills and clamber up that giant tree. The handholds were excellent and he was up  and into the canopy within a matter of minutes. 

To his surprised, Jebedeen noticed that the very plane he had been following all day had in fact crashed into the canopy of that very tree that he had decided to clamber. He made his way over to the wreck and found the pilot still strapped into the one-seater cockpit.

"Are you all right?" called out Jebedeen. Nothing. Jebedeen gave the motionless body a healthy nudge.

"ooh ooh aahhh aaahh!" replied the pilot in a sudden fit of life.  

This response surprised Jebedeen as the pilot was clearly a human being and not a monkey. but they *were* in the jungle and *when in Rome*, so.....

"aah aaah eeeh oohh ahh!" replied Jebedeen.

"Oooh, ooh, it hurts!" Said the pilot, seeming to gain more of his senses back, "help me, help me!"

Feeling thoroughly embarrassed for having misappropriated the pilot's cries of discomfort as monkey role-play, Jebedeen swiftly weaved his way through the tangle of metal and extricated the poor pilot from his seat. 

"It's a long way down," said Jebedeen to the pilot as they lay on a giant mesh of canopy branches gauging the distance down to the ground. "Did you pack a parachute?"

"No..." replied the forlorn pilot, "...all I packed today was a banana. And it got all smushed in the crash!"

"*Are you* or *are you not* pretending to be a monkey?" asked Jebedeen.

"what?" replied the pilot.
