<strong>用在服饰</strong>

汉朝之后，声称自己是赤帝之后的只有两个人，三国刘备和匈奴刘渊，红色慢慢向下辐射，开放。

隋唐的时候，红色这颜色不尊贵了，不着在龙袍了。四品、五品中层干部都统一着“绯衣”制服。还有连小吏也穿红色，可称朱衣吏。

<strong>用在笔尖</strong>

三国时期，有人已用朱笔作阅读批注。

南北朝时期，官员记录账本以朱笔作收入，墨笔作支出。公文可用“朱墨”别称。

从唐代天子批阅，下指示开始用朱砂笔，“朱书御札”。

明朝时期明文规定朱砂笔只能天子用。

你如果想用，也是有办法的——成为秉笔太监就有机会。虽然说朱元璋很辣手他任上不可能，可后面的刚愎暴戾的、昏庸无能的、爱研究炼丹的、爱做木匠的各款天子都是机会。

清承明制，天子的朱砂笔只能用于公文，或谕或批。

<strong>用印</strong>

隋唐时候造纸技术很不错了，文涵的密封，个人标记，政府颁布和往来公函等很多地方都用朱砂和水调调用印。

由于用水调和容易掉色，到了元代，开始用油来调和了。一直发展到用印尼。
