Recently my PC's power supply decided to retire (died) so I decided to give it a funeral it deserves; it has been with me for many years, from the early days of my shitty upgraded Core 2 Duo set up which barely ran Minecraft, to newer systems with better processor and graphics cards. 

Though no wonder it broke down; I've had it for almost 4 years and even at the time of purchasing it, it was used one.

Luckily there's a shop near which sells PC components so I could buy a replacement the very next day.

<center><em>This time I didn't conserve with the PSU but bought a quality one with 80 Plus Gold (<b>and a 10 year warranty!</b>) energy efficiency which means at best there's only 8 percent of energy wasted as heat, so it runs really cool. So cool it keeps 0dB until it reaches 50% load with the fan kicking it.</em></center>
