it's hard to think how find something to compare with steem and i'm trying to do this exercise. That's my first attempt to use something outside steem to compare and i will try to gather more information next days and put some brain into this idea.

I believe the best way to evaluate STEEM is use an analogy with a faucet.
Q. How much a faucet pay? 
A. Something between 80 and 120 satoshis.

That's the first question and while steem is more profitable than a faucet it's better enough to keep investing on it!

Yesterday i read about advertisements on steem and how to keep market cap growing and i believe that's the way to spread steem around the world. Pioneers of steem will earn more than steem in the future, they will earn steem power and could use their influence to earn money from outside. If steem experiment goes well, subjects could say they are real proofs of work, lol. It's funny to reduce myself to a experiment subject, however that's the truth and i'm here by my own will.

Keep watching ICO's and keep banging my head on the wall. Why? Why people think anything related to blockchain means easy money? Blockchain is technology and we need some reason to use it, a purpose, more than just an idea. It sounds like 90's and internet fever, everybody believe could sell anything on internet doesn't matter the price or reason. Few companies founded in 90's survived until 2016.
