Since very long time I was thinking to make post against `magic attack` by using `Silence` ability. It was a tough battle against strong opponent but team combination and their placing made this easy. My team won this battle without loosing any monster. I already enjoyed such a battle many times while battling against Ruler of the Sea and Alric Strombringer. 8 out of 10 times I able to defeat opposite side. When you are I have to play against magic additional summoner along with magic Monsters then surely I like to choose **Death splinter** **THADDIUS BROOD**. Adding one more monster with silence ability along with two `Amplify` monster. These two amplifier monster increase magic reflect attack. Sometimes I get couple of `Melee` Monster from opponent in magic attack battle, so I keep one Thorn ability Monsters in last position. Such combination always be effective against **Alric strongbringer** and magic attack. It was already a thorn battle ruleset, so there was no need to place any such monster at last position.

**MANA COST AND BATTLE RULESET**

It was `30 Mana` Battle game ruleset and there was something new that I want to dig out from this battle. Actually till now I never made any battle post against magic Monsters especially against **Alric strongbringer**. I feel very happy to see helpless magic Monsters with certain  battle plan. I have seen seen battle against magic Monsters and these  magic Monsters able to dominate the opponent. When ever I have to battle against magic monsters then I feel very happy because I know well to  break the `magic spell`. At least 8 out of 10 times I win against this magic spell. No doubt my favourite Summoner is **Taddius Brood** and favorite monster is **PHANTOM SOLDIER** with `SILENCE` ability while battling against magic spell.

It was only `30 Mana` battle game ruleset with only single rule set that was **BRIAR PATCH**. With this battle rule set there was less chance for `Melee Monsters`. When I checked recently played team of opponent then I found that maximum time he was with magic Monsters along with **Alric Strombringer**. I was happy and ready for battle. 

**BRIAR PATCH-**

According to this battle ruleset each monsters have `Thorn` ability.

**TEAM SELECTION AND CARD PLACING**

It was `30 Mana` battle game with certain ruleset. I wanted to use 6 Monster for this battle along with one `Silence` ability monster. I always use at least single card with `AMPLIFY` ability whenever I have to battle against magic Monsters. But in this battle I was using two `Amplify` monster. First two position was secured for magic reflect monsters as  it was  that's my opponent is stepping with magic monsters. To make combination more strong I was using one `WEAKEN`  ability monster. Thus two Silence effect with **Phantom Soldier*" and **Brood**, two Weaken with Summoner and **UNDEAD PRIEST**. Now  I was ready with two Amplify monsters. 

**LORD ARIANTHUS**

I placed **Lord Arianthus** at first position. Fortunately opponent team was using all card with magic attack.This is my most favourite one traditional `Neutral legendary` monster that I use often in any mana battle game. In others world you can say that it is most durable monster due to its `Void, shield, magic reflect and Thorn` ability.. This monster comes without attack but its utility is great. I placed it at first position so that I can resist opponent and thorn them. I was not using any Tank Heal but I was happy to see the opponent frustrated due to exceeding resistance by this legendary monster.

**HAUNTED SPIRIT**

Till now I have remember that in my initial time I was using maximum time **HAUNTED Spirit** at first position due to its `REFLECT and HEAL` ability. Don't wrinkle eyebrow that time too players believe in magic Monsters  and that time Haunted spirit used to be effective monster. There was only one role of **Haunted** for this battle to reflect magic attacks. Its Heal was  bonus for this battle. This is one of the most useful `Rare Monster` from Death unit. 

**PHANTOM SOLDIER**

Bravo! What we can say about this `Epic` monster. Really amazing with pretty good magic attack along with unique `VOID, FLYING and SILENCE` ability. I think it is a great combination with **THADDIUS BROOD**. This game was all about **Silence, Magic Reflect and Amplify** that made helpless to the opponent. Due to  it's utilty it's price is greater than other similar monster. I always use **Phantom soldier** against any magic battle squad. 

**WEIRDING WARRIOR**

It was a perfect fit in `30 Mana` battle game rules due to its **Shatter and Amlify** ability. I was using **Lord Arianthus** at first position so it's role was great to support with additional damage in reflect. Whenever I have to play against magic additional summoner then I used to take two monster with `Amplify` ability. Overall it's utility is great with two ange attack. 

**VENARY SPELLSMITH**

This  is my favourite four Mana `Rare` Monster from `Death` unit. This Monster always be effective especially in little `League battle` rule set. Although I was using for its `Amplify` ability  so that I can damage more in reflect. This Monster comes with two take and three speed at level 6. There was zero chance for `Melee` Monsters  so without any hesitation I placed it  at 5th position. You can see that within 3rd round all Monster of the opponent was destroyed because of Amplify. 

**UNDEAD PRIEST**

This is a monster blaster in certain battle rule set. I wanted to `Weaken` opponent so I placed it at last position only for single reason to reduce the health of  opponent team. It's Mana cost is only two with four health and one `magic attack` at level 4. Initial time I wanted to sell this Monster but soon I understand the utility of this Monsters so change Idea to sell it.

**DID MY STRATEGY WORKED WELL? WILL I TRY DIFFERENTLY IN NEXT TIME**

To be honest against `magic spell` I always feel comfortable and my single theory is  to weaken them by using `Amplify, Silence and Magic Reflect` along with using **Brood**. Fortunately there is  one `Amplify` monster in `NEUTRAL` unit so I can apply this formula with any **SPLINTER**. Almost every Splinter has at least one monster with amplify ability. It was a perfect team combination for this battle.  First two monster with `Void and magic` reflect. Although  I was not using any Tank Heal but I  was sure that my first two monsters will be effective and sufficient for the opponent. In the third round itself, the opposition team was completely destroyed. In future, whenever he will enter the field against me, this thing will definitely remain in his mind  to use another option instead of Magic attack. 

 **DO I BATTLE WITH SILENCE OFTEN? WHY OR WHY NOT**. 
Of course I like `Silence` very much especially when your I have to take field against magic Monsters. Like wise I prefer **CONQUER THE JACEK** but  mostly player comes with magic attack  either water summoner or **Dragon summoner** so I have to use it. This time there are four Silence monster in my card wallet but  I always prefer Death unit especially with Brood  and **Phantom Soldier**. Sometimes I also use Earth splinter and I use two Silence ability monsters with **Lord Arianthus**. I think range monster with `Amplify` is more effective than magic amplify Monsters. It backfires when the opposing team comes in with Magic Reflect Monsters like **Prismatic energy** and **Lord Arianthus**.
