Greetings to all! Today I'd like to share a family recipe that I pulled straight from grandma's recipe book. It is an aloe vera smoothie to help relieve cold and cough symptoms. Join me and I'll tell you what it's all about.

In my family we treat colds, coughs and general discomfort with medicinal plants that we even have in our own garden. I remember when we were children my sister would get sick very often. Her bronchial tubes would close up and it was very difficult for her to breathe and most of the time my mom would treat this discomfort with the aloe vera smoothie and my sister would get better. That is how we learned to use aloe vera as an indispensable ingredient for home remedies.

This time I will use it to relieve the respiratory system. Since the change of weather has caused some members of my family to have symptoms of the common cold at home, including coughing and breathing difficulties. The recipe is very simple to prepare and with only 3 ingredients that surely we all have at home:

-100 grams of aloe vera crystals.
-30 grams of white head onion
-1 clove of garlic

>>En esta oportunidad la utilizaré para aliviar el sistema respiratorio. Ya que el cambio de clima ha hecho que en casa, algunos miembros de mi familia presenten síntomas del catarro común, entre estos tos y dificultades para respirar. La receta es muy sencilla de preparar y con solamente 3 ingredientes que seguramente todos tenemos en casa:

# Preparation

-The first thing we are going to do is to extract the crystals from the aloe vera stalk. With a sharp knife we remove the green bark, starting with the thorns on the edges and then each of its sides.

-In the food processor, we will add the aloe vera crystals.

-Add the white onion. It is a natural decongestant due to its polyphenol content.

This preparation yields 4 servings to be taken before bedtime and upon rising. It is very effective as it helps to expectorate and relieve cold symptoms.

Hola @chacald.dcymt, tu post está realmente bien elaborado y expones una buena receta, que sin duda alguna debe ser muy efectiva para tratar el catarro y enfermedades similares, además, como siempre haces en todos tus posts, es una publicación muy bien estructurada y sustentada con fotos y explicaciones; no obstante, esta es una comunidad vegana, no una comunidad de medicina natural. A los efectos, es un contenido que no se vincula con Plant Power (Vegan), motivo por el cual, procedo a silenciar tu post. Te recomiendo, que en futuras oportunidades, este contenido lo publiques en las comunidades Natural Medicine o en The Herbal Hive, ambos constituyen nichos idóneos para este tipo de post.
