Esta mañana desperté sin sombra.
Busqué y busqué, pero no la encontré. 
Podía sentirla rozando mis movimientos, pero cada vez que miraba no encontraba nada.

¿Puede la sombra decidir esconderse? ¿Puede decidir entre quedarse o perderse?

La extraño. Necesito tanto ver mi sombra. Pero me detengo un segundo a pensar, ¿tiene sombra una idea? ¿Cómo se refleja una idea en una sombra misteriosa y oscura en la pared? 

La idea llega como una chispa. Se apodera de mis pensamientos y lentamente de mi cuerpo cuando por inercia decido materializarla. 

No puedo dormir cuando una idea me rodea. Me levanto, enciendo la lámpara y en mi taller las sombras graciosas se adueñan de la pared. Pinceles, lápices, cuadernos y crayones. Todos inmóviles, oscuros y con ganas de que las sombras de mis manos los tomen para crear. 

Esa es la sombra de una idea. Es mi misma sombra que serpentea en la pared lo que no puedo pintar en el papel. 

Esta mañana, cuándo lo noté, llamé a mi amiga y se lo conté. No se deja ver, le dije preocupada. 

Búscala bien, respondió ella un poco asombrada. ¿A quién se le pierde la sombra? Pensaría ella. 

Después de tanto buscar por fin el sol bajó. Llegó justo al punto donde se filtra por la ventana y de manera casi inmediata ilumia mi pequeño taller y las sombras cobran vida.

Y allí apareció. Para mi tranquilidad volví a ver la sombra de una idea. Apareció en la pared, con un foco entre las manos, el cabello desordenado y con ganas de crear. 

Me quedé admirándola un rato y por fin, volví a sentir  la sombra de una idea. Estamos listas para crear.

This morning I woke up without a shadow.
I looked and looked, but I couldn't find it.

I miss it. I need so badly to see my shadow. But I stop for a second to think, does an idea have a shadow? How is an idea reflected in a mysterious, dark shadow on the wall? 

The idea comes like a spark. It takes over my thoughts and slowly my body when by inertia I decide to materialize it. 

I can't sleep when an idea surrounds me. I get up, turn on the lamp and in my workshop the funny shadows take over the wall. Brushes, pencils, notebooks and crayons. All immobile, dark and eager for the shadows of my hands to take them to create. 

That is the shadow of an idea. It is my own shadow snaking on the wall that I cannot paint on paper. 

This morning, when I noticed it, I called my friend and told her. She won't let me see it, I told her worriedly. 

Look for it, she replied a little astonished. Who loses their shadow? she thought. 

After so much searching, the sun finally came down. I arrived just at the point where it filtered through the window and almost immediately illuminated my small workshop and the shadows came to life.

And there she appeared. To my peace of mind I saw the shadow of an idea again. She appeared on the wall, with a spotlight in her hands, her hair messy and eager to create. 

I admired her for a while and finally, I felt again the shadow of an idea. We are ready to create
