What makes good writing is very subjective and making it interesting is one of the things that makes a story well written which i personally agree but what makes bad writing is the plot holes, characters' actions not making sense, overuse of plot armor or not enough justification, etc. , some people consider these really important and will even start hating on the show because of all these flaws , while some won't care about this no matter how much all these stuff is there in a show and just enjoy the show. My  point is that not all well written stories are entertaining for these type of people who are maximum in a community where shows are made purely for entertainment than some people who are very indulged into the shows and care about the writing of a story.
Also not  all well written stories are intriguing, and interesting things are what entertains most people, no? good written stories is a part which doesn't contribute much in entertainment, interesting plot, comedy with good humour, good plot twists , enjoyable fight scenes, etc. contribute more to entertainment. you gotta be really involved in the story if you wanna enjoy the writing of it which most ppl don't care to do while the previous things i mentioned easily entertain people without asking for much involvement for the watcher. sometimes , slow pacing makes a very well written show less entertaining which further proves my point of good written stories not contributing much to entertainment.
