- Explorer
: This is a browser developed by MS and is operated/used in Windows 95 or higher. It is the web browser that users around the world are most familiar with. It supports ActiveX technology, which allows various multimedia environments to run within the browser, but has problems with slow speed and web standards, so the trend these days is to move to the Chromian (Chrome-based) browser. After Explorer 9, which supports HTML5, MS released version 11 and then announced the discontinuation of support.
- FireFox
: One of the web browsers that threatens Explorer is Firefox. It can be said to be a browser released by improving the open source called Mozilla project together with netizens and users. It is quite fast and is very strong in security and user privacy. However, in Korea, there were many limitations to the service due to ActiveX problems. However, in recent trends, many restrictions have been lifted and the number of users is increasing.
- Safari
: This is a browser released by Apple, and was initially announced as the fastest browser. It has a simple design, many unique features, and is used as the default browser on Apple devices. However, users are actually looking for the Chromian browser. It is installed on the iPhone and iPad, and its market share is gradually increasing, and it has a similar demand as the Chromian browser.
- Chrome
: This is a browser released by Google, and users feel that it is faster and lighter than other browsers in terms of speed. Perhaps because of this, as mentioned earlier, this browser's market share is gradually increasing. It can be used for various purposes through the Chrome Web Store through extension programs. This is also the reason why many people are giving favorable reviews and applause to the Chromian browser.
- Opera
: Netscape and Explorer have established a foundation for web browsers by building their own reputation since the early days when they dominated the market, but they are losing out to the Chromian browser. However, looking at the market share, it is still difficult to ignore. (Because it has a significant market share in mobile.)
