It is our pleasure to announce the release of our newly designed web front-end on [streemian.com](https://streemian.com).
The changes made on the webpage can be summarized as

* obsoleting the `bootstrap` framework in favor of `semantic-ui`
* integration of JavaScript libraries into the framework with cached static files
* added statistics and a list of recent announcements to the front page
* overhaul of the user profile and settings
* new settings for platform support

# New Features

* **curation trail** premium queue: This puts your account in front of others in the same trail
* **curation trail**: The new user-specific settings enable trailers to define some conditions for their curators to follow their votes.
* **ping**: A notification service that sends out emails on events that concern your account
* **scheduled posts**: A service that publishes your press releases to STEEM on time

# Under the hood

Many changes have been made in the last couple of weeks that improve the robustness, speed, throughput, and stability of the back-end processes that actually perform the hard work.

These include

* massive improvements in the curation throughout
* improved database scalability and speed
* more automation that reduce latency and improve usability

# Platform Support Settings

In contrast to other platforms for automatic voting on STEEM, we have not used our customers Steem Power to increase visibility of our own content on STEEM. Going forward, we would like to improve our competitiveness and market penetration, and would like to tap into new markets by giving out customers a choice. Starting today, we offer our customers four choices of how they can support Streemian with their Steem Power, if they want to: *Basic*-, *Self-Advertisement*-, *3rd-Party Advertisement Support* as well as *Support for our parent company ChainSquad*. We would like to emphasise that we will begin using our customers' Voting Power starting in January 2017 and thank you already today for your support.
