In other words, Essentia is a framework that allows users to precisely control their online identity. Users want their identity to be completely confidential. <p><strong>ESS-ID</strong> is a Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallet that is generated by a human or machine for anonymously interacting with the blockchain. Since it's controlled via a dedicated hardware-key, there is a higher level of security. It can also be created or managed through software or set-aside hardware devices and has optional multi-signature capabilities and features. Root-ID’s also created and manages individual as well as groups of Sub-ID’s. The ESS-ID base operations are to destroy/create/backup/restore the root-ID, to verify/sign/decrypt/encrypt data and to generate and manage its Sub-ID’s with exactly same properties. ESS-ID facilitates exclusive ownership and control by the user and it links to their' ID's and data. Further, it also consists of framework-specific infrastructure, configurations, and data. </p>
<p><strong>ESS-Home</strong> is the decentralized data environment that will operate inside an operating system while the ESS-OS defines the operating system itself. Acting as a blockchain gateway and interface, these 2 in combination, form a powerful and trustable modular framework for executing transactions, trading, development, mining, interaction etc. For example, with this combo, users will be able to store, restore, access and use, their data from any location. The framework can be deployed in a Browser, Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android), on any desktop, server or dedicated devices.</p>

The token is used to pay for extra internal resources as well as paying for renting added decentralized third-party resources that are connected to Essentia. </p>
