No se puede fingir amor, este es atrevido y se muestra por mucho que disimulemos: nuestras acciones, la manera como hablamos de una persona, el interés que le demostramos, habla claramente de ese sentimiento.  Este  crece y se manifiesta en forma de orgullo o embeleso.

Es bonito amar, somos privilegiados por sentir esa emoción, que no dudamos en declarar a los nuestros.  Crié a mis hijos haciéndoles saber mis sentimientos; expresarles cuánto les amé y amo fue parte de mi rol de madre  Creo firmemente que tener esa convicción nos hace más humanos.  

En mi crianza existía ese amor desmedido volcado en acciones y  reacciones, pero no se nos decía.  Yo escuché el primer «te quiero» en la voz de José Bardina, en una novela llamada Lucecita que protagonizaba Marina Baura.  Asumí que estas palabras eran propias de las telenovelas  y suspiré con ellas, cuando logré ver algún capítulo, ya que en casa mi papá prohibía la televisión, según su estado anímico, pero no sentí cerca nunca ese tipo de vocabulario.  El amor se demostraba, no se expresaba.

Crecer con la suposición del desamor no hizo más fácil mi vida, se sembró en mí un autoconcepto lamentable, que me tocó trabajar a mi manera, hasta que pude comprender con la madurez y entender los comportamientos.  Mi autoestima  se fortaleció con  el amor recíproco de mis hijos.  Sin lugar a dudas, esa interacción repleta de buenos propósitos se vuelve un pilar con bases bien asentadas.

El querer y el amar son sentimientos que hacen la vida más linda, vivir rodeados de amor es un regalo poderoso, alimentar ese sentimiento es importante.  Que nuestros hijos,  nietos y demás seres queridos no digan más adelante, que nunca le expresamos verbalmente esa emoción, por lo que es sabio trabajar en ello.

He notado que en sus últimos momentos las personas como que quisieran recuperar ese tiempo perdido y es allí cuando se empeñan en querer perdonar o hablar con una persona en particular para expresar sus sentimientos.  ¿Por qué no hacerlo antes? El efecto que esas palabras originan es muy poderoso. 

También es cierto que estas palabras se deslexicalizan,  cuando son empleadas de manera reiterada, como fórmula de interacción social estereotipadas.  La gente las incorpora en el saludo y pasan a formar parte de un cliché. No nos estamos refiriendo a esa especie de moda, sino a la expresión sentida y contextualizada cargada de significado.

La expresión dicha lleva implícita un conjunto de significados que hablan de la importancia que tiene la otra persona para nosotros, el cuidado, el deseo de que tenga bienestar y salud.

En mi trabajo docente pude conocer adolescentes que tenían una imagen de sí mismos muy deteriorada, con la convicción de que nadie podría quererles nunca y esto obedecía a la pobre relación con sus padres y la certeza de no haber sido queridos. Esto es lamentable porque el adolescente pierde el respeto hacia sí mismo y se niega la posibilidad de poder dar amor también.  

Queremos una sociedad con ciudadanos seguros de sí mismos y esto se forja desde la niñez, con el comportamiento amoroso que se brinde en el hogar.

Growing up with the assumption of lack of love did not make my life easier, a regrettable self-concept was planted in me, which I had to work on in my own way, until I was able to understand with maturity and understand the behaviors. My self-esteem was strengthened by the reciprocal love of my children. Without a doubt, this interaction full of good purposes becomes a pillar with well-established foundations.

Loving and loving are feelings that make life more beautiful, living surrounded by love is a powerful gift, nurturing that feeling is important. Let our children, grandchildren and other loved ones not say later that we never expressed that emotion verbally, so it is wise to work on it.

It is also true that these words are delexicalized, when they are used repeatedly, as a formula for stereotyped social interaction. People incorporate them into the greeting and they become part of a cliché. We are not referring to that kind of fashion, but to the heartfelt and contextualized expression loaded with meaning.

The said expression implicitly carries a set of meanings that speak of the importance that the other person has for us, the care, the desire for their well-being and health.

In my teaching work I was able to meet adolescents who had a very deteriorated image of themselves, with the conviction that no one could ever love them and this was due to the poor relationship with their parents and the certainty of not having been loved. This is unfortunate because the adolescent loses self-respect and denies the possibility of being able to give love as well.

We want a society with self-confident citizens and this is forged from childhood, with the loving behavior that is provided at home.
