Anyone that gets angry easily cannot maintain a peaceful and happy home. There is no wisdom getting angry with your spouse over every little issue. Beloved, if you want God to use you, pray against anger. Never accept it is your nature. If truly you are born-again, you have what it takes to overcome that deadly nature.
Variously in the scripture, the Word of God makes it clear that anger is not good and we must deal with it. Please note:
*1. Anger stirs up strife.*
>A wrathful man stirrer up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaser strife. Proverbs 15:18.

Instead of stirring up strife, determine to create an atmosphere for peace. That is an evidence of spiritual maturity.
*2. It can turn a person to murderer*
>O my soul, come not thou into secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they digged down a wall. Genesis 49:6.
It's unfortunate that Simeon and Levi missed their opportunity for blessings because of anger. Their anger turned them to murderers. Anything that can turn you into a murderer should be avoided.
*3. It can attract a curse*
>Cursed be anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. Genesis 49:7.
If uncontrollable anger can attract a curse, avoid it. Don't find any excuse for anger.
*4. It is outrageous*
>Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy? Proverbs 27:4
Anything that is outrageous is not good. Pray against it and do away with it.
*5. It is the portion of fools*
>Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the in the bosom of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9
*Don't provoke anyone into it*
>Father's, provoke not your children into anger, lest they be discouraged. Colossians 3:21.
As believers, don't do it say anything that will provoke your spouse or anyone for that matter to anger. If you do not want others to misbehave, don't do anything that will encourage them to do so.
*7. Keep away from it*
>But now ye also out off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Colossians 3:8
If the Lord asks us to keep away from anger, then let us do so. That is what shows that we are His children.
*Be slow to wrath*
In Proverbs 14:29, the Bible states:
>He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of the spirit exalteth folly.
*9. Even God is slow to anger*
>The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. Nahum 1:3.
If God Himself is slow to anger, we have no excuse for us getting angry easily. We must tame this ungodly nature. May the Lord give all couples and believers alike all over the world grace to embrace understanding of this topic.

Do you know that wrath, most times creates more problems and hinders prayers? There is no reason holding on to a way of life that will limit the grace of God over your life. You can also become mighty if you can manage your anger. The Bible states in Proverbs 16:32,
>He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than h that taketh a city.
***GOD BLESS YOU ALL***
