Good morning Friends in today's virtual walk I will take you to a mountain town at the foot of the Rila town of Samokov, the locals call it a town with history. A small but beautiful city with a lot of history and landmarks during the Ottoman rule in the city there were over 8 mosques, but today only one is preserved.

Today's post is exactly for this remaining last mosque Bayrakli mosque, it is also called the Old Mosque. According to the inscription at the entrance, the building case was built around 1845 and was owned by the local governor Mehmed Husref Pasha. The mosque is quite beautiful to this day. Unfortunately it was closed for visits, but as far as I know it was soon restored and the murals inside have been restored for the outside I'm not sure if it has been repaired.

 Днешния ми пост е точно за тази останалата последна джамия  Байракли джамия тя е наричана още Старата джамия. Според надписа на входа е построена някъде около 1845 година делото за построяването и е било на местния управник Мехмед Хюсреф паша джамията е доста красива и до днес. За съжаление беше затворена за посещение, но доколкото разбра скоро е била реставрирана и стенописите вътре са били реставрирани за външната част не съм сигурен дали е търпял ремонт.

This mosque is located in the city center, surrounded by a beautiful and well-kept city garden. The site has been turned into a museum, but is only open on weekends for visits, so I could not show it to you inside. The mosque has been declared a cultural monument as I wrote in my previous posts, this is the mosque for which the Turks made the big fountain on this fountain did the ritual washing before each prayer.

Тази джамия се намира в центъра на града заобиколена е от градската градинка красива и поддържана. Обекта е превърнат в музей, но е отворен само през уикендите за посещения затова не успях да ви я покажа и вътре. Джамията е обявена за паметник на културата както писах в предните ми постове това е джамията, заради която турците са направили голямата чешма на тази чешма са правели обредното умиване преди всяка молитва.

This is a beautiful town that will be remembered for a long time, its history is quite remarkable, the town is located next to the famous ski resort Borovets and during the winter season is visited by many tourists.
