Hi, dear Steemians!

In this post, I want to talk to you about the most destructive characteristic of the human race that is always keeping us from reaching peak efficiency and achieving the things that we were destined to achieve!
In today’s society, it is difficult to find people who have graced themselves with a state of peace and tranquility. We are always stressed out about things that had nothing to do with us and we are always regretful of our own life decisions.
These feelings and sensations have crippled us to the point of forgetting who we are as a species, and what we are supposed to do with our precious lives.

Our time on this planet is limited. We are born, we live, and we eventually die. Against the preciousness of time rises an enemy that wishes us to forget what we are supposed to do with the chances that are given to us.
This enemy is the human tendency to overdramatize everything that happens to them. They try to search for meanings or understandings where there is none to be found.
Something happens across the world and we start to feel desperate.
An occurrence disturbs the balance of our life, but being the overdramatizing creatures that we are, we start to unnecessarily make an issue out of something we could have easily dealt with if we wanted.

This is not to say that we should suppress our feelings or do not give them any validation. But we should always draw boundaries and make sure that our voice of reason is adequately equipped to deal with a situation properly and without falling into the trap of despair.
Our inner tendency to overdramatize can cripple us at every opportunity. The more you learn about this world, and the more you use your logic to assess everything, the easier you will deal with your problems.
We should at least try to see the world from beyond our puny perspectives. Every now and then, we could close our eyes and see the ever-growing universe by standing near the stars that give it light.
Beyond good and evil, beyond pitiable needs and matters, beyond our emotions and values, we can see the universe in its truest form, and there we will find the meaning of existence.

Our habit to overdramatize everything that happens to us or try to find deeper meanings and emotions in small troubles will only lead us to a life of despair and conscious reluctance.
Do not needlessly magnify your problems. For every problem, there is a solution. For every closed door, there is a key. You just have to work up the courage to find that solution and key.
Whenever faced with a dilemma, try to think about it with your logic and voice of reason.
What would be better than being able to conquer life with the power of thought bestowed to you?
