Who Id Build My Next Team Around

Arsenal have had the worst season in recent history and no European football for the first time in 25 years. Cash won’t be as free flowing without access to the funds for these competitions or so we are less to believe and one things for sure top players don’t want to play for a team that can’t give them  access to trophies. 

It’s also going to put pressure on the wage bill and we will need to cut down on top player salaries. If I was to choose the players I’d use for the core of the next team it would be 

- Saka
- Smith Rowe
- Nelson 
- Balogan 
- Pepe
- Tierney 
- Partey 
- Mari 

The rest I don’t really feel have shown they want to play and deserve to stay and need to do better or get replaced

I agree besides a few.  Nelson really hasn't taken his chances and I don't rate him.  He might feature on a lower level team.  Mari has done well but he's a bit old and I'd like to see Gabriel start more as he's the future.  Balogan did sign a new contract which is good but he's proven nothing so far in the first team nor has he been given a chance.  I"ll just suggest that you forgot Martinelli?  Its bad times now and hopefully we can only go up.  I'd add Auba as I think he's been really unlucky this season and will bounce back with a quality next season.

I rate Nelson I think his got what it takes to be a first teamer I watched him in Germany and his a top player, I think the fact that willians contract forces Arteta to bring him on has been why Nelson doesn’t get much game time 

Mikel and some players have even stated that his one of the hardest working guys in training and talented.

Gabriel will be there longer but Mari his super composed but his not going to play 2 games a week but for he his proven that his one of the better options! His passing is also much better than Gabriel who hopefully will learn because he made a few high profile cock ups

Oh no how could I forget Martinelli definately his a starter reminds me of a young sanchez in many ways

Indeed but can Marinelli play the piano.  Hopefully he doesn't tank his career like Sanchez has haha.  Yeah the Willian thing has turned out to be a really terrible signing.  I have to admit having seen him last season at Chelsea a bit I thought he'd be able to contribute but he hasn't.  Nelson?  I think they'll sell him truthfully.  I do rate him higher than Eddie.  Strange how quickly Leno has fallen thru the cracks.  He was mister steady before this season and now says he wants out... Apparently they're trying to sign the suspended Ajax keeper

Are they cheap enough given their current funds? I don't think there is plenty of cash flow to recruit when they won't be able to get trophies. I don't follow along so I don't know all the names as well.
