Arsenal are one of the many clubs interested in a move for Netherlands star Cody Gakpo as he shines at the World Cup. Gakpo has been in great form for the Dutch already bagging 3 goals for himself in the group stages. 

He is also one of the most productive attackers in Europe in the last campaign and this world cup has done nothing more than increase his stock to well over 50 million now. 


As he gets better, more clubs are linked with a move for him, with Arsenal being a front-runner. If the Gunners can break the bank for 50-60 million they could secure his services.

Since he can play across the front 3, I think he makes for a much more attractive signing who can compete with Jesus but also play with him and bring some more guile to the team as well as an aerial threat. 

Cody scored 21 goals last season and already has 13 for PSV this season having also faced the Gunners in the Europa league. I do think that he has proven that he can handle a top defence and I think he would be a great addition to the club and should be a top priority signing either in January or come next season.
