Hello Hivers cartoonists and art lovers, I hope you are well and healthy today. Today I am here to show you a drawing that I made with a lot of love and affection for my friend María Verónica who had her birthday on January 31 and I wanted to make her one of my own drawings since I have never drawn her before.🌸🍓

>Hola Hivers dibujantes y amantes del artes, espero que hoy se encuentren muy bien y saludables. Hoy estoy aquí para mostrarles un dibujo que hice con muchísimo amor y cariño para mi amiga María Verónica que cumplió el 31 de enero y yo quise hacerle un dibujito de los míos ya que nunca la he dibujado.🌸🍓

Many times when drawing a friend it's hard for me to get the ideal photo, that photo that makes me want to draw the person and that has all the potential to make my drawing look nice, however with María Verónica it was the opposite, since she uploaded these photos a few months ago I knew I had to draw them since I loved them from the first moment.

Buuuut... When María Verónica uploaded these photos she uploaded several, and that's why it took me a while to choose the one that was the right one, although in reality they are all very nice. I chose this photo for several reasons, but if I tell you the truth, the main reason is because her hands are not showing in this photo, besides the fact that she looks very pretty.

>Muchas veces a la hora de dibujar a algún amigo me cuesta conseguir la foto ideal, esa foto que me haga querer dibujar a la persona y que tenga todo el potencial para que mi dibujo quede lindo, sin embargo con María Verónica fue lo contrario, desde que ella subió estas fotos hace algunos meses yo sabía que tenía que dibujarlas ya que me encantaron desde el primer momento.

>Perooo... Cuando María Verónica subió estas fotos subió varias en realidad, y por eso si duré un poco escogiendo la que fuera la indicada, aunque en realidad todas están muy lindas. Esta foto la escogí por varios motivos, pero si les digo la verdad el mayor motivo es porque no le salen las manos en esta foto, además de que sale muy linda .

<center>**STEP BY STEP**🌸🍓</center>

I started making a sketch, as always, I was making the lines freely and trying as much as possible to make it look like her. To bring a little more dynamism to the drawing I made the hair buns longer and made them with a little more volume and movement.

In the background I made some strawberries and also musical notes, she is not a singer but as she has headphones I thought it was a good idea to put that. In the sketch I wanted to capture all my ideas at once so I wouldn't be improvising at the last minute.

>Empecé haciendo un boceto, como siempre, fui haciendo las líneas libremente y tratando en lo posible de que se pareciera a ella. Para aportar un poco más de dinamismo al dibujo hice que los moños de cabello estuvieran más largos y los hice con un poco más de volumen y movimiento.

>En el fondo hice algunas fresas y también notas musicales, ella no es cantante pero como tiene unos audífonos me pareció una buena idea poner eso. En el boceto quise plasmar todas mis ideas de una vez para no estar improvisando a ultimo momento.

Then I did the outline or lineart of the drawing, which made me love this drawing completely, I really liked the way I did it and I think it was very neat and close to the sketch.

What did change a little when I did the lineart was the nose that for some reason I made it a little smaller, but what I thought at that moment is that with the colors I could make it look a little bigger. And something that I loved too much how it looked was the eyes.

>Luego hice el delineado o lineart del dibujo, que hizo que amara por completo este dibujo, me gustó mucho como lo hice y me parece que me quedó muy prolijo y apegado al boceto.

>Lo que si cambió un poco cuando hice el lineart fue la nariz que por alguna razón la hice un poco más pequeña, pero lo que pensé en ese momento es que con los colores podía hacer que se viera un poco más grande. Y algo que amé demasiado como se veía eran los ojos.

Then I started coloring, this time I wanted to start with the skin and it was a little confusing, since I don't quite understand Maria Veronica's skin color, she is like white, but at the same time brown, and she is like tanned but at the same time pale hahahahahaha, not like that either, but I didn't know with what colors to color the skin.

I started with beige and peach, then I gave her shadows with sienna brown and dark brown, then I gave her more colors with pink and crimson red.

And I also made the eyes that gave life to this drawing, they were really cute, she looks very tender.

>Después empecé a colorear, esta vez quise empezar por la piel y fue algo un poco confuso, ya que no termino de entender el color de piel de María Verónica, ella es como blanca, pero a la vez morena, y es como bronceada pero a la vez pálida jajajajjaa, tampoco así, pero no sabía con que colores colorear la piel.

>Empecé con beige y melocotón, luego fui dando sombras con café siena y café oscuro, le di más colorsito con rosado y rojo carmesí

>Y también hice los ojos que le dieron vida a este dibujo, de verdad quedaron muy lindos, se ve muy tierna.

Then I colored her hair, I started by making lines with a dark brown color by intuition, that is to say, I didn't plan or think much about what I was going to do, I just let my hand flow and by intuition I was coloring and everything came out very well.

Then to add more movement and texture I made some hair with pencil, and I also colored the strands that fall on her face.

>Luego le coloreé el cabello, empecé haciendo líneas con un color marrón oscuro por intuición, es decir, no planifiqué ni pensé mucho en lo que iba a hacer, solo dejé que mi mano fluyera y por intuición iba coloreando y todo salió muy bien.

>Luego para añadirle más movimiento y textura hice algunos pelos con lapicero, y también coloreé los mechones que caen sobre su cara.

Then I colored his sleeves with a little pastel pink, and with purple I did some shadows, but I wanted to leave it without so many shadows so that it would look light and simple, because sometimes simple is also very nice. I also gave color to the hooks and the headphones, which by the way, I added some more hooks to make it look nicer.

>Después coloreé sus mangas con un colorsito rosado pastel, y con morado hice algunas sombras, pero quise dejarlo sin tantas sombras para que se viera liviano y simple, porque a veces lo simple también es muy bonito. También le di color a las ganchetas y los audífonos, que por cierto, le añadí algunas ganchetas más para que se viera más lindo.

Finally I made a very colorful background with highlighters, specifically I made lines, spirals and hearts, I also colored the strawberries that were very nice by the way, I feel they combine very well with it and then I cut out the drawing and that's how it was.

>Por ultimo hice un fondo muy colorido con resaltadores, en específico hice líneas, espirales y corazones, también coloreé las fresas que quedaron muy lindas por cierto, siento que combinan muy bien con ella y luego recorté el dibujo y así fue como quedó.

I am very happy with the result, and I hope that María Verónica likes it very much, and I have not given it to her yet, tomorrow she is coming to my house and I am going to give her the drawing together with another gift that I bought for her.

In my case it is very noticeable when I make a drawing for a person I really love, I made this drawing with a lot of love and affection and it shows because it was very nice, what a thrill! I hope she likes it.
