## Swachh Ability Run

### A run for cleanliness and appreciating abilities of people around us and respect and value every creation of God.

Today morning a run was organized in our city for two causes as mentioned above. I also witnessed this run as my daughter also ran for the cause.

**[Major DP Singh](http://majordpsingh.com/), Kargil war veteran and India’s first blade runner** was the center of attraction of the run, he was honoured for this movement and bringing all the like-minded people together for the crucial mission of making India clean and inclusive.

The run was in two categories, 3 km and 5 km. SwachhAbility kickstarted with the power-packed Zumba session, prepping up the running enthusiasts for the big day.

About more than 2000 participants carried the message of swachhta(cleanliness) and the inclusion of divyangs(people with disabilities) as equals along the colourful streets of the city.

> SwachhAbility Run inspired from the spirit of selfless service, epitomized by The Indian Army. Celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, it is a unique run carrying a strong message about two important causes – the inclusion of Divyangs(persons with disabilities) as equal and Swachh Bharat(clean India).
