Hello, here is a recipe for a chocolate cake that only requires one egg

What you will need: 
50g of butter 
1 Tablespoon of Golden Syrup
1 Egg
½ A cup of sugar
1 Tablespoon of Cocoa
1 Cup of plain flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
A few drops of vanilla essence
1 teaspoon of baking soda
¾ cup of milk 


What you need to do: 
Melt butter and syrup in a small saucepan.
Put melted ingredients into a bowl.
Add egg and sugar and beat well.
Sift cocoa, Flour and Baking Powder together.
Fold sifted ingredients and vanilla essence into egg mixture.
Dissolve baking soda into Milk and fold into egg mixture.
Pour mixture into two greased and lined 20cm sponge sandwich tins.
Bake at 190C or 374F for 30mins or wait until cake springs back when lightly touched.
Leave in tin for 5mins before turning out into a cooling rack.
When cool, ice with chocolate icing and Devour
