Working on the weekends is not something I like to do but sometimes have to due to the demands of the job I'm in; this doesn't mean I go to work disgruntled our upset, just that I don't feel I get the break I need when I need it. 

When I work during the weekend, I mean Saturday and Sunday, I always accrue days off to take later which is good. I don't get paid overtime money but banking those days off to take whenever I like down the track and getting paid for them is handy because it means I can create long weekend when I need to. I suppose working weekends now and then isn't bad from that perspective, but that doesn't stop me from feeling a little hard done by when I have to go to work on Saturdays and Sundays like this weekend. 

Here's some music I've been listening to lately, three really good tracks from some years ago. I think ***<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMOGaugKpzs&list=PLVQ7g3e6O27cH8KG9mktLWH8zcqiwTntP&index=72">The Police</a>*** track is the best of them but ***<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkNfNR1WYMY">Metallica</a>*** always do a good job as well and I don't like everything ***<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHxnm1-gVS4&list=PLVQ7g3e6O27cH8KG9mktLWH8zcqiwTntP&index=146">Eagle-Eye Cherry</a>*** sings but this one always puts me in a good mood, even when I have to work on the weekend.

You work hard @chisomdamian , it's been the same for me on many occasions, and the truth is, it feels good after all because it's allowed me to improve my life in many ways... although it's also important to know when to stop and rest. 
Of your songs, I like Every breath you take best; it's a sublime song for me sung by Sting.

I get the reason why you prefer working on weekends. Seems like a good idea especially when you are free on those weekends. For that reason, I would do that too. 

When I was a kid, my brothers used to listen to The Police songs so I came to know and like them too. I started listening to some Metallica hits when I was in high school. I only know one song of Eagle-Eye Cherry (Save Tonight). Here, The Police and Metallica are popular. 

I enjoyed Metallica's appearance in Jimmy Fallon's show playing classroom instruments some years ago.
