Yes I know that noise. My bird Indy is a green Indian Ringneck parrot and she's only 1/4 of the size of Harris and she has got a screech that will knock down buildings! She's spent 15 years by herself so I'm trying to get her used to people now (without them getting screamed at and losing their fingers...) so I'm taking her to work with my every weekend in the office and slowly but slowly she is getting used to humans and being in different environments too. So I'm sure that Harris will get to know and love your brother soon too and he will love her back just as much. So glad to see that you 2 landed on your feet with your brother. I'm sure that it will all work out well for you all.

Surprisingly she flied to his arm from the ground, after he called her. Today she also sat on his arm.
