*<P><div class="text-justify">Surprises, that experience that life has to give value to that which seems forgotten. That feeling of excitement, joy and pleasure that comes with good times, a delicious meal and an evening filled with exquisite company; that brings warmth and mutual complacency. You know, these words, just try to describe in a very simple way, how it feels to be in a couple with someone who makes you infinitely better. Loved, cherished, desired (as a woman) and more or less is what I will try to describe in this post for you.</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">You see, 2024 has already started for me. I have resumed my Monday through Saturday routines. Waking up at 6am, getting everything relevant for school and my youngest daughter's preparation. Then, half showering and getting dressed in record time so I can be at the bus stop on time every morning. Going to work, being more than 8-9 hours each day. Accumulating loads of stress, reiterating a lot of the monotony of the days; in short, living a lot of weekdays, with habits and routines that don't leave much room for hope or fun....</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">Now, in the little time I knew I had free, I decided to visit my boyfriend and spend a weekend with him. He was not in very good health. He has been sick for a few weeks now, and the energies were totally different. Still, I admire a lot about him that he is not a man who is too comfortable being a burden to anyone. Since it is very fashionable (at least in Venezuela) for men to know how to "solve situations". In short, I was with him and I saw how from the first moment of those few days we were together, I was next to a person who, despite not feeling too well, had the intention, the impetus and the detail (to me) to make me feel loved.</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">I needed to distract my mind from so much dull routine, and from working to halfway survive another week; making one person richer and richer (no, I'm not a communist. But let's face it, being a wage earner is not a very comforting job). So, there was he and I, on a random Sunday, a little light rain had fallen during the day. Usually, that day, in the city, it's usually full sun, very hot. However, it was a rather cold, mild, rather gray day? My boyfriend, out of the most absolute nothingness says to me, "We should take a shower, get dressed and go out and get something to eat somewhere".</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">I confess, I wasn't expecting any of that. As I have already told you, he was not feeling too well. I valued his remarkable inspiration too much. I believe that true intimacy is most noticeable when the other person complements your stay; interprets in a subtle, non-invasive and frankly poetic way how they can help you without making you feel guilty or like a burden. I confess that this initiative captivated me. Honestly, I wanted to break the routine.....</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">Both he, and I, are the type of people who do not tolerate for too long doing, feeling, talking, eating, or acting in a routine way.... Plus, there was this restaurant/bar that appealed too much to both of us, and he did all the due diligence to be able to experience it. He literally did everything. Reservations, menu inquiries, table availability; absolutely everything. The hours passed, and we arrived at the place. Famous in our city for being one of the best in pizza and coffee. Let me tell you, it was a wonderful evening as well as a simple one.</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">And when I say "simple" I mean leave the cell phones behind, we literally put them on silent mode. I loved the attention that the workers of that place offered us. We waited for our order, but most of all, we decided to talk about us. I discovered that my partner is a man who has made it part of his goals to try to be happier. Honestly, I haven't heard many men say something that blunt like that. He's not overly unhappy or anything, but I still marvel at seeing him express himself. Also, when you're in a relationship, it's so important to have the ability to be surprised and moved.</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">We connected, we laughed; I saw him improve in terms of his mood, and above all I feel that I was very happy with his effort to make only me happy. I love very much to feel so special and important. In my life, I have not had many anecdotes being the most loved part of me? It has taken me a long time to really digest this relationship that I currently have. Any given Sunday, with a person who is half sick, and yet I am the one who is the protagonist of this story. You don't know how good it makes me feel to experience this. To be happy, to accompany the person I love and to eat delicious food; all without having the slightest idea of anything beforehand.</div></P>*

*<P><div class="text-justify">I am very romantic woman but reserved, he is not romantic at all but he knows how to treat me and how to get along with me. He is my accomplice, a man in every sense of the word and someone I admire very much. Come to think of it, this post is just the excuse to describe my experience about him and how he makes me feel. The reason was our little romantic date, but I now believe that it was actually a moment to relive the passion, to move me and to be happy and recharge the batteries of pleasure. Remember, this was on a Sunday, the next day I had to go to work.... You don't know how good it is for the soul to be happy. I learned it, so do you too.</div></P>*
