I set out on my pokemon go adventure, it was A cold but clear Saturday morning I left home in a rush barely digesting the buttery toast in the process I walked fast down the quiet roads heading towards the loud and busy city center a couple of miles away. upon reaching the city it was time to load up the game. as the game-loaded pokemon flooded the screen, it was time to catch them all. I walked many miles chasing the pokemon, hunting every single one I could find, I walked through the city park, down the city roads, and through the market forever chasing the goal of catching them all. The miles soon added up and before I knew it I was into double digits making great progress

I miss the days when I would do the same, but with the [Wizard's Unite](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter:_Wizards_Unite) game. Still totally bummed they shut it down last year. Sigh.

@shinyobjects very curious you mention that, I played so much of that game and I can't believe they shut it down.

Even more annoying as there was also A ghostbusters game https://www.ghostbustersworld.com

very similar that was also shut down :(

its a shame they all shut down, pokemon go is amazing but I wish there was other options

I was such a fan of Wizards Unite. I played up until the moment they shut it down. It was the game that went a long way towards bringing simple fun into my life when the seriousness of the pandemic was at its peak. 

I [wrote a few posts](https://peakd.com/hive-133651/@shinyobjects/sos-task-force-a-call-to-wands-) last year about my game play in the Gaming Photography community, but all they did was make me miss the game even more. 

Even though the game is long gone, I am grateful for the 2 1/2 years of game play. Wands up! /*
