Sunset on Traintracks (ENG/GER)
**Summary:**
During our walk along the tracks, the sunset offered a perfect photo opportunity, and I especially liked the one with the train in the background (Photo A). Stepping out of my comfort zone, I let my girlfriend take pictures of me, leading to a favorite shot (Photo D).

Three days ago, as we walked over the tracks, we were greeted by a spectacular view, thanks to the sunset. 
My girlfriend is a big fan of light, especially when it gets dark, and often takes photos of sunsets. When I saw how the light reflected off the tracks during the Blue Hour, I initially just wanted to take a photo. (Photo B)

But then I reminded myself not to be always in a hurry and to try something different. Sadly, I'm one of those people who complain about a lack of photo ideas but don’t fully utilize locations because of being too hasty. This decision quickly paid off, as a train appeared on the horizon.

My girlfriend kept an eye on me to ensure I wasn’t run over, and as luck would have it, the train stopped right in front of me. As people started crossing the street, the best photo of this gallery was taken - Photo A. <div class="pull-right">

Once the tracks were clear, my girlfriend asked if I wanted some pictures of myself. Those who have seen my [last post](https://peakd.com/hive-194913/@chrislybear/ahfospcx) on ThreeSpeak know I'm not usually keen on being in front of the camera. But I'm slowly getting used to it. So, I set up the camera, and handed it to my girlfriend. The most beautiful one for me is Photo D. <div class="pull-left">

I particularly love the color grading of the photos and the blur effects. The pictures were taken with a Sony Alpha 7 Mark 3 and an 85mm lens, achieving a beautiful blur in both the background and foreground.

I believe every hobbyist photographer has a collection of such sunset or sunrise photos. On one hand, I think: "Enough is enough," as they often look quite similar. But on the other hand, considering how these photos turned out, I'm glad I took the time and my girlfriend encouraged me to take some pictures of myself as well.

Now I have memories captured with me in the picture.

Als wir vor drei Tagen über die Gleise gingen, bot sich uns ein spektakulärer Anblick, bedingt durch den Sonnenuntergang. 
Meine Freundin ist generell ein Fan von Licht, vor allem wenn es dunkel wird, und macht oft Fotos von Sonnenuntergängen.  Als ich gesehen habe, wie sich das Licht in der Blue Hour auf den Gleisen gespiegelt hat, wollte ich erst nur ein Foto machen. (Photo B)

Aber dann habe ich mich selber daran erinnert, nicht immer so hektisch zusein und einfach mal was anderes auszuprobieren. Ich zähle mich leider zu den Leuten die sich über zu wenig Fotoideen beklagen, aber aus Lokations nicht das maximum herausholen weil sie zu schnell sind.  Ziemlich schnell sollte diese Entscheidung belohnt werden, da am Horizont ein Zug zusehen war.

Meine Freundin hat dann aufgepasst, dass ich nicht überfahren werde und wie es der Zufall wollte, hat die Bahn vor mir angehalten. Da Leute nun die Straße wechselten ist für mich das beste Foto aus dieser Gallerie entstanden Photo A. <div class="pull-right">

Als die Gleise frei waren, meinte meine Freundin ob ich nicht noch Bilder von mir haben wollte. Wer meinen [letzten Beitrag](https://peakd.com/hive-194913/@chrislybear/ahfospcx) auf ThreeSpeak gesehen hat, der weiss ich stehe nicht unbedingt gerne vor der Kamera. Allerdings gewöhne ich mich langsam dran. Gesagt getan. Ich hab die Kamera passend eingestellt, und meiner Freundin in die Hand gedrückt. Das schönste von den Bildern ist für mich Photo D. <div class="pull-left">

Besonders schön finde ich hier die Farbgebung der Bilder und auch die Unschärfeeffekte. Die Bilder habe ich mit einer Sony Alpha 7 Mark 3 und einem 85 mm Objektiv aufgenommen, so dass wir im Hintergrund beziehungsweise auch im Vordergrund eine richtig schöne Unschärfe haben.

Ich glaube, jeder, der als Hobby fotografiert, hat ein ganzes Repertoire von solchen Sonnenuntergangsbildern oder Aufgangsbildern. Auf der einen Seite denke ich mir:"Irgendwann ist es auch mal gut", da es irgendwie immer sehr ähnlich aussieht. Aber auf der anderen Seite, wenn ich mir überlege, wie die Bilder jetzt geworden sind, bin ich froh, dass ich mir die Zeit genommen habe und meine Freundin mich angespornt hat auch mal von mir Bilder zu machen. 

Jetzt habe ich wenigstens mal Erinnerungen auch mit mir im Bild festgehalten.
