***Good morning, and welcome to Channel Nine Morning Edition. I'm Rhonda Wilkfordblatt, coming to you with a special report.***

***For the last twenty-four hours there have been widespread eye-witness accounts of random household objects falling from the sky. Yesterday afternoon, the chaos began when various silverware and cutlery rained down onto the city of Chicago for nearly a half an hour. Fortunately, the spoons greatly outnumbered the knives, and no one was killed.  Countless windows were broken, and city officials estimate the damage to be upwards of $50 million.***

***Later yesterday evening, in Austin, Texas, thousands of throw pillows were littered from the sky. Experts report that, based on the impact damage, these pillows were traveling at extremely high speeds. Relief efforts have already begun.***

***This morning in Charleston, South Carolina, many are taking shelter as lamps of all shapes and sizes continue to plummet to the earth, now for the third straight hour. We would advise people to stay in their homes during this crisis. If you attempt to go out to buy hardhats for your family, you will only have to dodge the lamps. It's not worth the risk, and we've received reports that all Home Depots have sold out of protective headwear.***

***In Montana, tens of thousands of college football sweatshirts have landed. The salvation army is currently on the scene, collecting the sweatshirts and preparing to deliver them to populated areas, where they may be recycled.***

***We will try and keep you updated on these strange events as they unfold...*** 

***This just in. Objects are now falling all over the Rockies. There have been multiple sightings of first aid supplies landing in the mountains. One young man, while hiking, was hit in the head with a large roll of gauze. Seconds later, a large defibrillator landed a mere foot to his left. He was uninjured.***

***Colorado Springs has been hit by walkers and Grand Junction by wheelchairs, while crutches and canes are falling all over the San Luis Valley. Stay with us. More to come.***
