So much drama with Steem these last couple of weeks but what in the effin world happened on Sunday? 


We all know about @justinsunsteemit buying Steemit Inc. 

This also means he effectively bought 20% of all Steem, so what’s the problem why did the top 20 witnesses create a safety switch to block Mr. Sun to use his legit buying of the company no not the Steem blockchain but the sleazy Stinc ( are we still calling it that). 


Justin wanted Steem 2.0 but got Steem 0.22.2 does that mean we went backwards did the top witnesses create a damaging effect on the Steem blockchain? Sure it’s temporary but with out a set time frame for it to be temporary it’s like saying it can last for ever. 

Who felt this needed to be done? The community? Or did the top witnesses with the nice paycheck? 

Don’t get me wrong I understand why it was done with many conflicting opposing statements like doing that Steem Tron swap crap.  We are of course against that. 

Like many others I agree to a certain point but what has been done it might cause ripples in the years to come for Steem meaning if a large stake holder came in and wanted to rearrange witnesses that means the top folks would be gone from the top Ed it all greed was fear setting in? 

To be honest I was a bit excited when the news broke about Justin with his great marketing skills but not such an amazing coin. But watching the AMA on Dlive I felt sick to my stomach nothing that was asked was answered. 


So I am on the fence with the soft fork I know what it was done but why didn’t this happen last year when the hot topic was how Steem Ninja Mined, was it because a billionaire had an interest in Steem and it was fears the dynamics would change? 

What ever the real reason I hope we get to find out other than that it must be hard for a select witnesses to deny the upgrade.

One thing that did come about was Justin’s post about the situation and I feel he felt a bit attacked but than again pretty sure he had no real clue what he bought. @ned is a scumbag but I feel @justinsunsteemit has real visions for this blockchain so let’s see what the Town hall meeting would come about.
