Crypto based catharsis is my focus of todays write up, from digital drug deals, Gun violence, & even living out fantasies vicariously via a blockchain Gladiatorial TCGs. Blockchain games like every game can be a healthy means of dealing with societal issues or personal wish fulfillment, & even better make a little money doing it.    


So journey with me as I go through a few P2E titles, & while growing my portfolio maybe even turn a capitalist pursuit, into a cathartic experience.

# Overview
I'm a tad difficult to follow with some of my write ups not due to complexity, but due to poor cohesion. Not that its an excuse however I write most of these on break at work so my focus can become a little disjointed.  

So to clarify my over arching plot of todays piece its in essence about healthy usage of blockchain games to alleviate anxiety.

Games as a medium are not championed for benefiting their customers mental health, an economic transaction is by nature predatory.

Though gaming is routed in commerce which by nature denotes predatory practices this doesn't mean games are universally manipulative.   

Blockchain Games are an extension of this not inherently good or evil, & while viewed usually in terms of value its subjective value. Meaning a poor product struggles to even break even let alone engage in predatory practices.  

Because our markets small, projects that succeed are in many ways better then main stream games, caring more for their fans then larger companies ever could.

Rather then exploiting each other Blockchain games & their players support one another in a symbiotic relationship appose to a predatory one.

Outrage & toxicity are a byproduct of our psychologically unbalanced repressed society above 👆 is a great wisecrack video on the dangers of online outrage. 

Due to the inability to cope with parts of ones self we are conditioned to be uncomfortable with repression occurs giving our (shade) power acceptance being unthinkable to us we repress internalize then lash out more & more digitally.

The shade is part of us not good, not bad, simply an aspect of ones psyche. My acceptance & becoming one with my own repressed aspects of my conscious mind has resulted in my personal acceptance of others with a more understanding outlook.

# Bang Defense 
My new favorite HIVE game built off the unity game engine Bang Defense has quite a bit going for it already.

Only a few months in Bang Defenses game is on point with Hashkings experienced team aiding the project with their HIVE tokenomics experience.

Since Bang Defense is relatively new to HIVE they are a P2E tower defense using fire arm NFTs to dispatch enemy monsters before they attack & destroy your tower.

Farming Wars Hashkings presale whatever I bought it cost a little over $1 worth of HBD for me personally but they use several HIVE alts for payment on HIVE pay.

From what I gather these will act much in the same way Water tower NFTs do meaning you can upgrade them & they produce crypto via ownership daily.

I can tell from their Post avatar level & GEAR token quantity determine what type of plague users can craft. The plague NFT is used in the farming wars as a NFT armament of sorts.

Pesticides are used in game to combat Plagues think like a metaphorical defense against plagues in farming wars.

Like plagues the factory level avatar level + GEAR's crypto cost determines what pesticides you can & cant craft.

Meaning you utilize the crafted plague or pesticide to wage a farming war with a monetary gain for the victor.

Doesn't fit your color scheme of Hashkings crypto thus far, I just like the feel of modernizing, & considering how involved the game mechanics have become since the start.
 
Cannabis, Contagions, & Pesticides with a side of  Corporate Espionage. Weed Wars + the gear token definitely represent the beginning of grander things for Hashkings. 

At any rate its helpful to support groups causes or projects you want to see succeed. Does it mean you get something for trying to help others achieve their goals, no. 

Not really the point if you purely peruse self interest it gets to be a toxic mentality, usually resulting in only viewing life in predatory terms. 

By sticking with Blockchain game titles I enjoy & personally want to see succeed there is a level of catharsis with my capitalism.

Not losing the core concept of games enjoyment, when introducing blockchain can be difficult, so titles like Hashkings that manage the seemingly impossible are something I want to see more of, & thus wish the best future for.

Crafting Plagues & Pesticides still eludes me I however will do a more in depth write up when I better understand the system.

Growing with their players Hashkings is quite cathartic experience to myself personally, as the more they accomplish, & add to the game I find myself gaining a greater understanding of HIVE projects.

# NFD Non Fung Drugs 
On WAX the P2E title Non Fung Drugs has the player assemble a mafia or gang of NFTs to deal NFDs on alien worlds.

A sci-fi noir mashup mafia style P2E on WAX is yet another way to grow your digital dro portfolio.


WAX games have problems with gas fees, not with NFD as most conformations are for sign in or withdrawal, meaning just running it in the background is recommended Production requires no WAX resources.

67 SPS & 3 Chaos legion packs, not bad if you consider how little I got to play last season.

Not that the SPS being auto staked is a bad thing, I would have to lie to be able to say I'm happy about it.

Regardless if you build up enough of a cushion of SPS staked I can earn it as quick as it gets powered down 1 week.

Meaning its not bad just different is all & it may be important for delegation of SPS at some point.

Understand now that SPS is the daily reward with no active use cases yet it will begin to decrease in price, this is intentional.

Fairly soon SPS use cases like rift watchers packs requiring SPS to purchase, once the demand overtakes supply you will have wanted to stock up as much SPS as you can.

From my observations rewards chests for instance must have a similar multiplier for SPS as they did for DEC meaning Diamond tier chests have up to 16x the SPS per pile.

Combine this with liquidity & passive earning mechanics what we get is another opportunity to stock up on SPS if the airdrop didn't give you all you need.

Splinterlands good old fashion P2E fun one of the best games in the industry, they take player opinion and agency seriously. The traditional gaming industry could learn a thing or 2 from Splinterlands have fun make some extra funds what could be better for escapism.  
# Beast Gardens
In a manor of speaking Beast Gardens may be viewed as a Splinterlands clone.

That's not necessarily true or even a bad thing, what Beast gardens brings to the table are minor differences which have resulted in a drastically different product.  

Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery after all Splinterlands should feel pride when emulated.

Beast Gardens a WAX P2E title has players battling one another with monster card NFTs.

This is no pretender to the throne however as this is where similarities stop, Beast Gardens from here forges its own path which is distinctly unique.

Players besides battling with beasts can grow plants produce water or produce fruit, fruit can evolve your beast NFTs.

Setting its own path Beast Gardens has added quite a bit to the TCG style P2E setup.

Here is an innovation I found to be quite interesting battle staking allowing you to stake an NFT team which auto fights every 24 hours.

 This is a great passive set it & forget it style set up since the title is still finding itself it allows users to keep involved but less hands on.

What could be better form of catharsis then playing a game automatically that's a low stress situation right there.

The games explored today are important as they understand the need for enjoyment otherwise, why even bother playing. Enjoyment first & foremost, profit is nice perk though not necessarily the only point.
