In the Buddhist tradition, it is said that we have only three tools on Earth: our internal processes being thoughts and feelings, our speech, and our actions. Our thoughts, just like speech and action, can be a source of future karma. The way we think guides our speech and action, and, according to some, our very thoughts affect the universe. We always have the choice to be clean and clear with our mental processes, just as we can be with our house.
