Hola mis apreciados amigos de Hive, hoy hare mi primera publicación en esta comunidad de #HiveMotors en aras del concurso que realiza @ocd semanalmente. Lo cual me parece estupendo pues me motiva a buscar contenido diverso algunas veces en áreas en las cuales no estoy familiarizado o no tengo mucha experiencia, pero así vamos aprendiendo de todo un poco y llenándonos de conocimientos que pueden servirnos en un futuro.
>Hello my dear friends from Hive, today I will make my first publication in this community of #HiveMotors for the sake of the contest that @ocd carries out weekly. Which I think is great because it motivates me to look for diverse content sometimes in areas in which I am not familiar or do not have much experience, but in this way we are learning a little about everything and filling ourselves with knowledge that can be useful in the future.
En mi entrada al concurso hablaré sobre mi experiencia con el camión de mi papá un Chevrolet Cheyenne 3500 del año 92 con el cual trabaje un tiempo y aprendí ciertas cosas de mecánica automotriz, en el tiempo que trabajé con dicho camión varias veces quedó averiado, en este caso les hablaré sobre la vez que me quedé averiado, por quedarme sin embrague, ya que es un camión sincrónico, debido a una fuga en la línea de la bomba del croche (embrague) el cual tuve que aprender a reparar en el sitio del accidente.
>In my entry to the contest I will talk about my experience with my dad's truck, a Chevrolet Cheyenne 3500 from the year 92 with which I worked for a while and I learned certain things about automotive mechanics, in the time I worked with said truck it was damaged several times, in In this case, I will tell you about the time that , the truck was damage by running out of clutch since it is a manual truck, due to a leak in the clutch pump line which I had to learn to repair at the accident site.
Cabe destacar que cuando mi papá compro el camión este ya traía una adaptación en la bomba del croche la cual se le cambio por una bomba de Toyota, al parecer estos camiones han sufrido muy seguido de este daño y se le puso una bomba mas robusta y fuerte como lo es la de Toyota.
>It should be noted that when my dad bought the truck it already had an adaptation in the clutch pump which was changed for a Toyota pump, apparently these trucks have suffered this damage very often and a more robust pump was put on it. strong as is Toyota's.
Al quedarme accidentado por suerte poseía un kit de repuesto de las gomas de la bomba y algo de liga de freno el cual siempre se debe tener para prevenir justamente estos casos y más cuando se trata de vehículos con muchos años de uso. Para los que no saben cabe acotar que la liga de frenos es también el liquido usado por el sistema hidráulico del croche en estos vehículos.
>Luckily, when my truck was damaged, I had a replacement kit for the pump rubber and some brake fluid which you should always have to prevent precisely these cases and more so when it comes to vehicles with many years of use. For those who do not know, it should be noted that the brake fluid is also the liquid used by the hydraulic system of the clutch in these vehicles.
Luego que saqué los repuestos, la caja de herramientas y haber recibido las instrucciones por teléfono me dispuse a bajar la bomba para ver por donde perdió el líquido y si podía repararla con lo que tenía. Luego de un chequeo, me percate había sido las gomas de la bomba y una pequeña fuga por la vía de cobre a la altura de la boquilla que entra a la bomba. Me dispuse a cambiar las gomas las cuales hay que humedecer con el liquido en cuestión para cuando se coloquen evitar la mayor cantidad de fricción posible, tuve que lijar con una lija muy fina el interior de la bomba y luego limpiar bien con la liga para evitar que quedaran escorias y se dañaran nuevamente las gomas. Así fue como monté el kit de gomas pero me faltaba reparar la boquilla o acometida de la linea a la bomba, algo más difícil debido a que no contaba con ciertas herramientas para hacer un trabajo mas profesional o de mejor acabado. por lo que tuve que improvisar, por suerte tenía suficiente líquido y la fuga era poca por ahí.
Luego de montarla y haberla purgado con ayuda de una persona que me ayudo a pisar el croche consecutivamente para sacarle el aire en la linea, pude llevar el camión a un taller especializado.
>After I took out the spare parts, the tool box and having received the instructions by phone, I started to lower the pump to see where it lost the liquid and if I could repair it with what I had. After a check-up, I realized it was the rubber of the pump and a small leak through the copper path at the height of the nozzle that enters the pump. I got ready to change the rubbers which must be moistened with the liquid in question so that when they are placed to avoid as much friction as possible, I had to sand the inside of the pump with a very fine sandpaper and then clean good with the brake fluid to avoid slags remain and damage the tires again. This is how I assembled the rubber kit but I needed to repair the nozzle or connection of the line to the pump somewhat more difficult because I did not have certain tools to do a more professional or better finished job. so I had to improvise, luckily I had enough liquid and the leak was little there.
>After mounting it and having purged it with the help of a person who helped me step on the clutch consecutively to get the air out of the line, I was able to take the truck to a specialized workshop.
