It's been a long time since I've written an update on the assets I own in relation to the ecosystem of "Splinterlands", I really don't remember the last time I did it or if I really did it at some point, but, the important thing is that I will resume and/or start this topic, on the other hand, I want to make this post something different from the conventional, I will try to encourage some players, I will really talk about how I have built my path in "Splinterlands" and explain several things related to the economy of the game that, in my opinion I think it is important to detail, especially for the new players that are arriving.
I want to tell you about my experience, and also detail some of my plans with the game and the assets I own, maybe this will help you to focus a little more on thinking before acting, so, in this opportunity, I will leave a little aside the gameplay, to focus on the economy of "Splinterlands" and the strongest points it has, in turn, if you follow the strategy I am trying to implement, there is a chance that you can see very good benefits in the long run, so it is important to be really consistent with your path in the game, this has worked for me and that is what I want to convey in this publication.

# <center> **My story | How much money did I start with in Splinterlands?** </center>

***Before I begin to give details of my strategy with the assets of "Splinterlands", I want to tell you how I started in "Splinterlands", I am sure that this will motivate more than one player, because, thanks to my patience, I have been able to obtain extraordinary returns and you will see why:***
My entry to the game and the Hive platform dates back to 2020 in the month of May specifically, I do not remember the day, all this was thanks to my husband, which already has more than 5 years on the platform and was at the beginning of what was "Splinterlands", which was formerly called "Steemmonsters", by then he had stopped playing, He had to sell all his cards for some personal reasons and according to what he told me, his deck at that time was well balanced, having all the Splinters at level 5 and 6 with pure cards from the "Beta" edition and some Alpha, then "Untamed" came out and when he told me about the game I was immediately interested.
Once we decided to play again and he also taught me how to do it, the next thing was to find money to invest, which was complicated, since we only had $35 available to do so, so we bought some specific cards that I really do not remember exactly, but, some of them were, for example, the powerful "Ruler of the Sea" at level 1, golden Peacebringer at level 3, Tyrus Paladium level 3 from the Alpha edition, legendary dragon splinter cards at their lowest level, like Diamond Dragon and Gloridax Magus, then some other rarities like; Golden Serpentine Mystic, Fire Spitter among others. With this and the ghost cards from that occasion, we started our journey together in the game.

## <center>Investments and rewards for that time</center>
Back then it was very easy to get to the "Champion" league investing very little, so, being constant playing daily, we managed to earn more than 1 million DECs and get pretty good rewards in the chests like, for example; The Kraken gold and Zalran Efreet gold, from those cards we sold "The Kraken" almost immediately, getting about $33 that helped us to pay for several important things at that time, since we were living in rent, then we kept playing and of course we managed to collect a large number of cards from the bounty edition, This helped us to play at a better level, we had to rent less and less, but we kept on doing it even though we had months without obtaining important profits, almost null, since the golden legendaries had abandoned us, I could even say that we lasted more than 7 or 8 months without great returns, but we kept on playing.
Then came the presales of what we know today as "Expansion of the Earth", we managed to get about 26 PLOTS joining one of the pools that were formed at that time, with these PLOTS saw several epic totems, rare and common, we did not get a legendary unfortunately, we also bought a little over 200 packs of "Untamed" before they ran out, which also worked as an excellent investment, until, months later, came the release of the Splintershards (SPS) governance token, we had a bull market since 2020 practically, so, the release of SPS boosted the gameplay and economy of the game like never seen before, by this time, our decks, both my husband's and mine managed to have a combined value of more than $55. 000, even selling some cards, all the assets and their prices were skyrocketing, so the return as I said, was extraordinary, of course, we did not sell our entire deck, we strengthened it further, but we still had expenses, so we had to divide our profits between helping our families and increasing our position in Splinterlands.

## <center>Current status</center>
The rest is history, we kept most of the assets we had obtained, minus the DECS and the Untamed packs, in fact, 3 months ago or less, we sold the last 10 packs we have left at a price of 21$ each pack, everything else you already know, the bear market was present, all the tokens in the game economy saw a normal pullback due to the change of trend, and here we are again waiting for another "Bull Market" and the official launch of the land. Already knowing how my process went, I hope that, new users will be motivated, yes you read right, with 35$ we made thousands of dollars, it's just about having patience and constancy, trusting where you are investing and actually "Splinterlands" has been the best investment by far that I have made during the last years.

As I mentioned in the previous section, all these assets originated from what was generated by investing only $35, my goal is to increase 4 of these assets as much as I can, these are; the SPS, DEC, VOUCHERS and of course my deck of cards, complete competitive teams to play at the highest level possible, in the end, this will bring as a consequence, higher profitability.

## <center>Investment strategy</center>
***My strategy is simple, for this, the 4 assets that I want to take into account mainly are the following, pay attention to the order, because my priority is guided thanks to it:***
> * DEC
> * VOUCHER
> * Cards
> * SPS
**DEC:** Many burning mechanics have been implemented for DEC with the goal of making it reach its parity of every 1000 DECs = $1, this means that, the more DECs are burned with the different mechanisms, offers and new presales, ideally the price of this token will go up, so, having DEC or gathering it is a good option nowadays, besides, the release of the lands in its 1.5 version is very close, and a lot of DECs will be needed for the lands to work with all its splendor.
**VOUCHER:** The Vouchers are a fundamental piece in the economy of the game, it is a special token that has the utility to work only and exclusively for certain presales, this token has been burning since the DEC-B were introduced to the game, that is why it has seen a rise in its price, this will increase as it is approaching the launch of the lands, which could benefit the VOUCHER.
**Cartas:** The cards in my opinion are one of the most precious assets of the entire ecosystem, my idea is to increase the power of my deck little by little, splinter by splinter, however, I need to invest, so, from what gabo I must allocate funds to achieve it, so that, when the new Bull run comes and the cards go up in price, I can take some profits by selling cards that I do not need and that will not affect my deck, I already did this in the past and it worked very well.
**SPS:** My goal with SPS is to reach 100000.000 SPS tokens in staking, this would be great, although what I lack to reach is approximately 26000.000 SPS, but, months ago I lacked much more, so, in my opinion I have advanced very well in this task.

## <center>How will I make it?</center>
To begin with, I am currently receiving an Airdrop of GLX tokens, their price has already dropped too much to want to sell at minimums, although I think it may continue to fall, but, on second thought, instead of accumulating them, my idea is to exchange each week at least 50% of what is collected and buy between DEC and VOUCHER, I chose DEC and VOUCHER because with all the burning mechanisms that are currently in place, it is more likely that I will make profits in the short, medium and long term.
These profits can be used to buy cards, at least those that I see more important, I do not seek to collect, but to improve my game with cards that are useful, this will allow me to collect more SPS per battle and in the chests, since, of course I will move up the league, in addition to the packs that I can collect while they are still distributed in the rewards. On the other hand, when I have already reached my goals with the DECS, VOUCHER and cards, ideally I will take profits from what is earned by playing daily, with this I can create a whole ecosystem of passive money, having fun and competing in "Splinterlands".

Hace mucho tiempo que no escribo una actualización de los activos que poseo en relación con el ecosistema de “Splinterlands”, la verdad no recuerdo la ultima vez que lo hice o si de verdad lo hice en algún momento, pero, lo importante es que retomare y/o iniciare este tema, por otro lado, quiero hacer de este post algo distinto a lo convencional, tratare de animar algunos jugadores, hablare realmente como he construido mi camino en “Splinterlands” y explicar varias cosas relacionadas con la economía del juego que, en mi opinión pienso que es importante detallar, en especial para los nuevos jugadores que van llegando.
Quiero contarles mi experiencia, también a la vez detallarles algunos de mis planes con el juego y los activos que poseo, quizás esto los ayude a centrarse un poco más en pensar antes de actuar, así que, en esta oportunidad, dejare un poco de lado la jugabilidad, para enfocarme en la economía de “Splinterlands” y los puntos mas fuertes que posee, a su vez, si siguen la estrategia que estoy tratando de implementar, existe la probabilidad de que puedan ver muy buenos beneficios a largo plazo, por lo que, es importante ser realmente constantes con su camino en el juego, esto me ha funcionado y es lo que quiero transmitir en esta publicación.

# <center> **Mi historia ¿Con cuánto dinero comencé en “Splinterlands”?** </center>

***Antes de comenzar a dar detalles de lo que es mi estrategia con los activos de “Splinterlands”, quiero contarles como me fue mi inicio en “Splinterlands”, estoy segura que esto que comentare podrá motivar a mas de un jugador, ya que, gracias a que tuve mucha paciencia, he podido obtener retornos extraordinarios y ya verán porque:***
Mi ingreso al juego y a la plataforma de Hive se remonta al año 2020 en el mes de mayo específicamente, no recuerdo bien el día, todo esto fue gracias a mi esposo, el cual, ya tiene más de 5 años en la plataforma y estuvo en el inicio de lo que fue “Splinterlands”, el cual, antes se llamaba “Steemmonsters”, para ese entonces el habia dejado de jugar, puesto que, tuvo que vender todas sus cartas por algunos motivos personales y según lo que me decía, su mazo en aquel momento estaba bien balanceado, teniendo todos los Splinters a nivel 5 y 6 con puras cartas de la edición “Beta y algunas Alpha”, luego salió “Untamed” y pues cuando me comento sobre el juego inmediatamente me interese.
Une vez decidimos volver a jugar y que ademas me enseñara como hacerlo, lo siguiente era buscar dinero para invertir, lo que estaba complicado, puesto que, solo teníamos disponible 35$ para hacerlo, así que, compramos algunas cartas puntuales que realmente no recuerdo con exactitud, pero, algunas de ellas fueron, por ejemplo, la poderosa “Ruler of the Sea” en el nivel 1, Peacebringer dorado en nivel 3, Tyrus Paladium nivel 3 de la edición Alpha, cartas del splinter de dragón legendarias en su nivel mas bajo, como Diamond Dragon y Gloridax Magus, luego de algunas otras rarezas como; Serpentine Mystic dorado, Fire Spitter entre otras. Con esto y las cartas fantasmas de aquella ocasión, comenzamos nuestro viaje juntos en el juego.

## <center>Inversiones y recompensas para ese momento</center>
En aquel entonces era muy sencillo llegar a la liga “Campeón” invirtiendo muy poco, así que, siendo constantes jugando diariamente, logramos ganar mas de 1 millón de DECs y obtener recompensas bastante buenas en los cofres como, por ejemplo; The Kraken dorado y Zalran Efreet dorado, de esas cartas vendimos el “The Kraken” casí que inmediatamente, obteniendo unos 33$ que nos ayudaron a pagar varias cosas importantes en ese momento, ya que vivíamos alquilados, luego seguimos jugando y por supuesto logramos recolectar un gran numero de cartas de la edición de recompensas, esto nos ayudo a jugar a un mejor nivel, teníamos que alquilar cada vez menos, pero lo seguíamos haciendo a pesar de que tuvimos meses sin obtener ganancias importantes, casí nulas, ya que, las legendarias doradas nos habían abandonado, inclusive podría decir que duramos + de 7 u 8 meses sin grandes retornos, pero seguíamos jugando.
Luego vinieron las preventas de lo que hoy conocemos como “Expansión de la Tierra”, logramos obtener unos 26 PLOTS uniéndonos a una de las piscinas que se formaron en aquel momento, con estos PLOTS vieron varios tótems épicos, raros y comunes, no nos toco uno legendario lamentablemente, también compramos un poco más de 200 paquetes de “Untamed” antes de que se terminaran, lo que también funciono como una excelente inversión, hasta que, meses después, vino el lanzamiento del token de gobernanza llamado Splintershards (SPS), teníamos un mercado alcista desde el 2020 practicamente, así que, el lanzamiento de SPS impulso la jugabilidad y la economía del juego como nunca antes se habia visto, para este momento, nuestros mazos, tanto el de mi esposo como el mío lograron tener un valor combinado de mas de $55.000, inclusive vendiendo algunas cartas, todos los activos y sus precios estaban por las nubes, así que, el retorno como dije, fue extraordinario, por supuesto, no vendimos todo nuestro mazo, lo fortalecimos más, pero, aun así, teníamos gastos, así que, debíamos dividir nuestras ganancias entre ayudar a nuestras familias y incrementar nuestra posición en “Splinterlands”.

## <center>Estatus actual</center>
Lo demas es historia, nos quedamos con la mayoría de los activos que habíamos obtenido, menos los DECS y los packs de Untamed, de hecho, hace 3 meses o menos, vendimos los últimos 10 packs que nos quedan a un precio de 21$ cada pack, todo lo demas ya lo conocen, el mercado bajista se hizo presente, todos los tokens en la economía del juego vieron un retroceso normal por el cambio de tendencia, y aquí estamos de nuevo esperando otro “Mercado alcista” y el lanzamiento oficial de la tierra. Ya sabiendo como fue mi proceso, espero que, los nuevos usuarios se motiven, si leyeron bien, con 35$ hicimos miles de dólares, solo se trata de tener paciencia y constancia, confiar en donde estas invirtiendo y en realidad “Splinterlands” ha sido la mejor inversión por mucho que he realizado durante los últimos años.

Como comenté en la sección anterior, todos estos activos se originaron a partir de lo que se genero invirtiendo tan solo 35$, mi objetivo es incrementar 4 de estos activos lo más que pueda, estos son; los SPS, DEC, VOUCHERS y por supuesto mi mazo de cartas, completar equipos competitivos para jugar al mas alto nivel posible, al final, esto traerá como consecuencia, mayor rentabilidad.

## <center>Estrategia de inversión</center>
***Mi estrategia es sencilla, para esto, los 4 activos que quiero tomar en cuenta principalmente son los siguientes, presten atención al orden, porque mi prioridad es guiada gracias al mismo:***
> * DEC
> * VOUCHER
> * Cartas
> * SPS
**DEC:** Se han implementado muchas mecánicas de quemado para DEC con el objetivo de hacerlo llegar a su paridad de cada 1000 DECs = $1, esto quiere decir que, mientras mas se quemen DEC con los distintos mecanismos, ofertas y nuevas preventas, lo ideal es que el precio de este token suba, así que, tener DEC o reunirlo es una buena opción actualmente, ademas, el lanzamiento de las tierras en su versión 1.5 esta muy cerca, y se necesitaran un montón de DECS para que las tierras funcionen con todo su esplendor.
**VOUCHER:** Los Vouchers son pieza fundamental en la economía del juego, es un token especial que tiene como utilidad funcionar única y exclusivamente para ciertas preventas, este token ha venido quemándose desde que los DEC-B fueron introducidos al juego, es por eso que se ha visto un alza en su cotización, esto se incrementara mientras se vaya acercando el lanzamiento de las tierras, lo que podría beneficiar al VOUCHER.
**Cartas:** Las cartas en mi opinión son unos de los activos mas preciados del todo el ecosistema, mi idea es incrementar el poder de mi mazo poco a poco, splinter por splinter, sin embargo, necesito invertir, por lo que, de lo que gabo debo destinar fondos para lograrlo, para que, cuando venga el nuevo Bull run y las cartas suban de precio, pueda tomar algunas ganancias vendiendo cartas que no me hacen falta y que no afectaran a mi mazo, esto ya lo hice en el pasado y funciono muy bien.
**SPS:** Mi objetivo con los SPS es llegar a los 100000.000 tokens de SPS en staking, esto seria genial, aunque lo que me falta para llegar son aproximadamente unos 26000.000 SPS, pero, hace meses me faltaba mucho más, así que, en mi opinión he avanzado muy bien en esta tarea.

## <center>¿Como lo lograre?</center>
Para comenzar, en estos momentos estoy recibiendo un Airdrop de los tokens de GLX, su precio ya ha bajado demasiado como para querer vender en mínimos, aunque pienso que puede seguir bajando, pero, pensándolo bien, en vez de acumularlos, mi idea es intercambiar cada semana al menos el 50% de lo recolectado y comprar entre DEC y VOUCHER, el restante lo seguiré recolectando aumentando mi participación en el Staking de GLX para aumentar mis recompensas diarias, elegí el DEC y el VOUCHER porque con todos los mecanismos de quema que hay actualmente, es mas probable que obtenga ganancias en el corto, mediano y largo plazo.
Estas ganancias pueden servir para comprar cartas, al menos aquellas que observo mas importantes, no busco coleccionar, sino mejorar mi juego con cartas que sean útiles, esto me permitirá recolectar mas SPS por batalla y en los cofres, ya que, por supuesto subiré de liga, ademas de los packs que pueda recolectar mientras aún se reparten en las recompensas. Por otro lado, cuando ya haya llegado a mis objetivos con los DECS, VOUCHER y las cartas, lo ideal es que tome ganancias de lo que se gana jugando diariamente, con esto podre crear todo un ecosistema de dinero pasivo, divirtiéndome y competiendo en “Splinterlands”.

Espero que este post haya sido lo suficientemente informativo como para motivarlos a continuar independientemente de las pocas recompensas que se reciben en ligas menores, la constancia hará que todo ese esfuerzo realizado sea recompensado, ya he pasado varias veces por la desilusión de obtener las ganancias deseadas, pero, el tiempo me enseño a tener paciencia, a divertirme jugando y a esperar a que el ecosistema en si mismo evolucione con el tiempo, al final, las ganancias llegaran de una u otra forma si me mantengo constante. Espero les ayude y puedan idear un plan que los ayude también a crecer en el juego.
