 This will be my first attempt at the weekly challenge.

The Disintegrator card is a great card in melee mayhem battles or melee only battles. By reducing the melee of the other team it will reduce the amount of damage coming in to your team. This pairs well with the shield ability on the card in the first position which can negate the damage entirely depending on the attacking monster's card.

As you can see my opponent had the same idea. We both protected disintegrator by putting him in the middle of the pack. I went with all melee to gain the most benefit from Tarsa's lead. My opponent went with a couple of ranged so their damage wasn't nerfed by disintegrator.

I however used Grum to protect my back line then Grum and Charlok to help burn down my opponent's front line tank with their high damage.

I had Serpentine Spy to work on their ranged characters.

To start round 2, my tank was standing with 1 hp, my opponent's tank was dead. I took some splash damage on Charlok and a hit on Grum. My Tenii Striker is working on their Tenii Striker their main source of damage. My Serpentine Spy is working on their range. Both Disintegrators are holding strong keeping the melee damage reduced.

To start round 3 my opponent's second tank was dead and his Disintegrator was now on the front like and open for attacked and will die this round from my Disintegrator, Charlok, and Grum. Serpentine spy has take care of the first ranged card, he will start to help with my opponent's Tenii Striker with my Tenii Striker which they will take out this round.

To start round 4 all that is left is the range card which can't attack and my melee cards will make short work of it. 

Giving me the win for this round.

Disintegrator is a great card against other melee cards. It works well even if it can't attack as it allows the tank to live longer and / or save your other cards from opportunity, sneak, and snipe melee cards.
