The day I introduced myself to the community, I commented that I am an industrial engineer, I worked in the field (area) most of the time, rather than in the office. Specifically the business in my city, was dedicated to the construction of buildings and / or houses.

Construction became my passion, an unequaled learning, where every day there is something new to learn, and thanks to the help of the Chief Engineer and my colleagues, life in this area became easier and much more valuable because it enriched me with knowledge; That knowledge that only by experiencing it can be achieved.

The day I took these pictures, I had to monitor a slab mold, under a strong sun, because here in the Caribbean, specifically in Anzoategui, Venezuela, the temperature is as to melt.

In the construction area, it must be borne in mind that the days are not the same, one after another teaches him something new and he lives each moment with a lot of sense, there are innumerable events that may seem bad and others good, where there are some of the situations that put us in a "race" until the solution is found, almost urgently.

# <center>Working on the slab mezzanine</center>

Making **"mezzanine molds"** can be very exciting and also scary for those who don't like height, because it's not just about supervising from below, "NO" must get on the scaffolding and be there, walking all over the slab.

Being a construction supervisor, it is the duty to supervise everything, in this case it is supervised from the formwork, and days later, where we do the pipeline tests, before the concrete is ready for its function; It must be verified that everything is perfect for the concrete to make its art and give us an impeccable slab.

The plumbers are in charge of assembling the water pipes tests, to carry out the hydrostatic test, for this slab the test is applied in five (05) apartments, which are followed up for (24) twenty-four hours , to avoid leaks.

We also perform pneumatic "gas" tests, which are tested much longer in advance.

The pump is left mounted taking the minutes into account, every 15 fifteen minutes and the process continues.

Making a constant tour of the pipes is of utmost importance, in this way we avoid leaks and if there are any, they are repaired. When there are leaks, the pressure on the pump will drop.

Specifically, this emptying was in the mezzanine slab, on level (03) three, where it has a height of (12) twelve meters; I was able to capture in these photos only some of the tests, such as hydrostatics. It is necessary to take into account the guidelines for the emptying of the slab, where all the equipment of qualified personnel and machinery must be located at the precise point.

Once the premix truck arrives, the general action of the dump pump begins.

It is of importance have a crew for each activity in the emptying, so that some hold the hose of the pump, while others proceed to brush and even and very important this point, **use the vibro** so that the concrete enters the nerves of the slab and uniformity is maintained.
